I had taken a ichimoku entry on $DBS a while back/
I plan to keep the position open until my lagging span touches the price again.

UJ 15M short
Ichi - all conditions satisfied (GOOD)
PA - support area for last 6 hours (BAD/OKAY)

I would rather be short in the circled area...it is much more risk where you are shorting.

Agreed. Regardless of the start, I always keep a tight leash on shorting....simply because overall trend is up on all of the US indices.

Hourly Dow Futures 1 Hour TF..been hanging around the same price for 4 hours, momentum is picking up a bit ..keeping tight leash on it.

Anybody looking at just the Daily timeframe? I am planning to trade the Daily timeframe only and will mostly monitor charts during the mid–New York session once a day. Entries and exits will be based entirely on the Daily timeframe.
So:

  1. Small positions
  2. Large stops
  3. Longer holding duration
  4. No fixed R:R
  5. Will trail the stop according to the Ichimoku
  6. Entries must respect price action first before looking at Ichimoku

I hope to get started next week with daily posts based only on the Daily timeframe. STOCKS CFD, FOREX, METALS ETC....
Feel free to comment and point out any mistakes.

Yep looks like a good entry for me, only the price is a bit flat and the ichi has too many flat lines but still i would take a trade their.

Thank you for your reply! I agree that the price is a little sideways, and the indicator also reflects the same thing. I just wanted to know if I had understood the entry criteria correctly. I am following the rules in the video made by Trade Pro.

Yes, I did by spending countless hours testing and analyzing, so I can come to a unique conclusion that will work for me. Exiting from trades is very much individual endeavor.

I would wait until this line gets over the PA when blue over red..and then wait for the dip to enter without breaking rules. That is one of the insights that playa haters from this thread did not wanted to wait for.
