some crazy moves here, a big drop over the last few minutes, towards the days opening, b/e hit now gone short for a few pips, might be a day of baby pips. will look for around the 3980-3950 (depending on movement) as a TP.

these are the hard lessons in trading.
the only thing that matters now: learn from it and come back harder.
you probably over-traded and maybe revenge-traded after the losses that’s human.
take a breath, look back at what you did, drop the trades on the chart and be honest: what was good, what was bad. don’t blame the market
the tough truth is it’s always on us.
you know what went wrong. don’t let it stop you. it sucks to watch earned money disappear, but it’s part of the game and part of learning. you’ll bounce back.

Despite is giving a sign of 3995, her 1.61 fibo minimun. Or her measured move at 3987.

I just need gold to sort its stuff out, today has been weird as hell movements in terms of my normal trading strat. dxy goes up and gold goes up too

worst bit is i got stopped out at 4024 which would've returned all my money. literally hit my exact sl and jumped down

But guys, is how i approach trading, after a loss don't fomo.
One step back and first see what i miss.
In this case was trading a rotation just by itself uncertain precisely inside London time window, when i notice was to late, the only option was to manage the trade with patience wich i did and reduce my exposure as soon i could.
Trade is not all about beeing right all the time, is to know when we can be wrong.

Yeah, that one stings.
On gold you can’t leave a stop in the wick zone. 4024/4028 was still under that 4027–4029 sweep. XAU loves to tag those highs, grab juice, then dump.
This is an important lesson, bro: always put your SL with extra room above the swing high that was just made no exceptions. I know it’s not fun to hear this while you’re still in the emotions of the loss, but these are the lessons that will save you next time.

TPs. It depends on who you are that day. Scalps 200-400 pips. Take the reward. Wait for another offering.

I didnt write it correct, my entry was at 2024, stopped me out the tiniest bit. was just in a sell and got out due to dxy pushing down but alas the correlation didnt matter lmao i shall be offing myself

throughout 3 years of trading ive never seen such a shit show like this, also ill add small stoplosses are in line with my rules completely. its just when gold is being like this there's nada i can do at all

Don't rush to sell, price will likely come back to entry and if it doesn't come back, still don't worry we will get another opportunity, i called the initial sell invalid because market gave a signal of further push upward or more buy and it moved from 4014 to 4027, and it could have gone to 4040 to hit sl or even bought more so that's why i called it invalid and i was right , now it has signaled a sell again and I'm saying don't rush because market retrace back to entry 90% of the time and we need another time frame for better confirmation so don't rush no matter what we will get another opportunity,

We sell at 4014-20, sl at 4030 and I will still update
