0.25% cut is what market expects so when the news is released and the number is 0.25% there is no surprise
When there is no surprise, the tone during press conference matters (if hawkish then sell, if dovish then buy)

Other than 0.25% cut, market will be surprised and the movement will be nasty up or down depending on the actual news

most likely too tight for you brother. i use around $1-2 but was even smaller today due to it being an opposing trade with potential for high volatiles

Just to further expand to you, I'm fairly new to gold, fx 3 years. I try to loose as little as possible with exaggeration on that. this sometimes comes to loosing 1-3 small stops before a trade may make that moneyback, but this is fully inline with my risk rules

i am not sure and confident about sell atm, i have not closed my buy yet. yep gold can go down but most probably 4010-4006 but not more atm. I am on buy till my target.

first tp hit 4020, now waiting for 2nd tp 4040 and then finally if hold this area then 4070-80

unless Trump China deal is signed no room for bears at all, im looking for an exit on sell and go long too maybe 3990-4000

Yep true, until that deal is sealed bears dont have much space to play.
3990-4000 looks like a smart zone to flip long.

When gold moves down most people start looking for buying areas and try to place buys at every support break. Similarly when its going up they keep trying to sell at every resistance break without checking what the actual trend is.

If you keep doing that sure one of your trades might eventually hit the target but by then you will have already lost money on many others and it will be too late. either we lack patience or we just cant resist jumping into trades after seeing others make profits without even checking at what price they entered and what the current situation is.

anyway thats how the market works, if no one buys who will sell?
if no one sells where will buyers come from?

Still think around 4050-4060 may come the drop but not so sure about it for now

Hmmm....this Asia session tricky me a lot when i feel tired too ( need a rest) and decide to skipp london....so more fresh on NY.

Decide to close all long .( cant manage when sleep)...fotunely left 2 runner from yesterday low at last minute before sleep.

Long long time waiting to find H4 close above 3982 till drop!

No regret ...more fresh for NY time

We reached minimum London too at 4028 can see a pullback to 4010.040 or by HTF reach 4050... 4028 is also the inside bar pattern that i show to all last night. So respect for that level as reference!
4010.040 have the same meaning as 3954 had to NY is generally tested and London demand also not tested below...
