About one-third of S&P 500 companies have reported. Of those, 83% have beaten earnings expectations, according to FactSet data

Several “Magnificent Seven” names are set to report this week, including Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta Platforms and Microsoft, which together account for roughly one quarter of the S&P 500′s total value.

Anything AI is likely to moon, but we'll see. AMAZ hedged a bit this week, announcing lots of layoffs (the 14,000 white -collar jobs); lasst week, they said they had plans to cut 600,000 jobs over the next 10 years, replacing those with robotics.
