I have a questionusually right, when new comes out, why does price always drop first before pushing up? Is it safe to say, if the news comes out today, we can expect price to at least touch 4028 and ouch back up

I have a question
Before the news is released, there is consensus on what the number will be
If the number comes out better than expected (strengthen USD), in theory gold price should go down
If the number comes out worse than expected (weaken USD), in theory gold price should go up
In reality, price doesn't always follow the above mentioned logic
The thing is big guys already know what they want to do so news release is more like an excuse for them to dump or pump (that is why even before we can read the number, the moment news is released within seconds price can already move hundreds pips)
