4200 is strong and psychological support but if break then down, it will retest it multiple times and then break, gold is bullish till 4000 so dont worry about it

This is a bit late for you here.... but for me, always:

*when a trade goes well my way, I do not want to allow it to fall below break even. I don't even want it to go back to break even.

*when a trade goes well against me, I know that having a decent chance to close and reverse is the same risk as holding for prayers that it goes all the way back where it started.

And the hardest thing to learn to do, is to close and reverse a loser.

But when the market gives a reverse signal, leaning on a SL like it's a safety blanket.... it's not.
