You should stop trading and learn the fundamentals first. I don't know why would someone short at 4100 which is a strong support zone. Plus your SL is 80 dollars. Max SL people keep is around 4-10 dollars which is still too much.

I would suggest to accept the loss, learn the fundamentals, learn the mindset/psychology needed and then trade. Even if you have the perfect analysis, if the mindset and risk management is not proper, you will lose.

Price can come down, it can/cannot come back there but it is simply an idiotic entry without analysis

in the next 40 minutes every US quote currecies will start selling, the earish movement will be intiated and atleast 100 pips in bearish direction dependeing on where and when you enterrr the market

Do I overleverage? (I risk 0.5-1% of account balance)
Do I overtrade? (I don't place more than 2 trades a day,
and 0 some days mostly Monday)
And there is a thing called stoploss, I use that.

What to fear then?

Yes. So I dont trade, I use a trader who trades on my behalf. He has been good until yesterday when he shorted gold at 4100. He's put a SL at 4180 and tbh I dont trade alot, I prefer fundamentals more than technicals. SO im just new here trying to understand and learn from fellow traders. I wanted to trust him but gold takes no prisoners no? SO I got scared.

I see now I thought the Fed would have a bigger impact, but it seems I was wrong. The market barely moved during the speech.

call me crazy but i took a swing trade short at 4150 target 3800. i think gold reached it's extended point.

Don't get it didn't reached?
I close mine at 50 round number, you can not see prices always precise, you should look to other factors as what can make stop price in your setup?
When i have something granted i surely will not be here...
4152 is the same setup given 2 days ago when i said, don't be afraid of pullbacks, sometimes is straight forward sometimes not.
Addind the fact that your stop count too, i know where i place mine.
Think a little, if i always say Ny is very important, where the stop will be? Below Ny demand...

Back from work. Managed to get a long trade in at 4127 before the 5 hour drive home. SL at b/e TP over 4200
