As you know, I use the TK cross. An upward cross has formed on the 1H chart, but the most important factor is the flat Kumo cloud ahead, which means the price could reverse. Not every cross is important. What matters is the location, the behavior of the Kijun and Tenkan, and each component of Ichimoku. There's also the time factor to consider.
Right now, of course, everyone is ready to take sides and argue, but I'm not here to prove anything to anyone. I don't have the energy for debate, etc.
On the M5, whenever a bearish TK cross occurs above the Kumo cloud & the Kijun slope turns negative, I enter a trade. But my target is only until the price hits the first edge of the Kumo. A breakout there becomes critical. If it breaks, the move can continue; otherwise, this cross's potential is limited to that target, I exit.
In some situations, when the price reaches my projected levels, I don't wait for additional confirmation. But in this case, it had no relation to my ratios—it wasn't even close to them. Therefore, I'm using the bearish TK cross & its subsequent breakout as my criteria. I've already shared the entry method in the Ichimoku thread.
This is the only scenario in TK crosses where I'm patient with the trade—when the candle breakout and the Kumo cloud breakout happen simultaneously. It could either reverse or it could genuinely continue upward.
If it genuinely moves higher, the price will either form a new bullish TK cross or reach my proportional levels, and I'll enter in that direction. For now, I'm just observing.
It's possible that no trade setup forms for me at all today, and that's perfectly fine. My system has given me enough signals in the previous days, and that's sufficient.
