What a moron. This is only restrictive policy compared to the recent years of QE. His assertion doesn't hold up when you look at the feds balance sheet.

You do understand that this is the person Trump nominated to the board recently. Everyone knows he is a Trump loyalist who is only at the board to push Trump's agenda, which are rate cuts and weak dollar. I wouldn't pay attention to him if I were you.
Oh and he was the same idiot who voted for 50bps cut in the last meeting and said tariffs are deflationary. He is desperate to land the Fed chair job and is trying to curry favour with Trump.
