Anyone ever thought: What if the Fed will not cut rate this September? What will happen to the market
Especially if that new Fed member of Trump ain't officially assigned on time to vote AND Powell gets more stubborn

My bull tp point to 3665.935, i simple don't buy it yet, looking to see what does this 1h, still neutral.

But will not be a surprise back to 3635... I would like to try a little sell at 649 is interesting price for me.


EDIT: 3645.090 is the main resstance here, if it break most likely will be tested, is why short at 3649 or 3653 is a good scalp for me. Runner i will see after...

Gold prices could hit $3,800/oz by the end of the year, ANZ Research's Soni Kumari and Daniel Hynes say in a note. Gold's recent rally was triggered by rising expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut in September, but strong safe-haven buying amid a challenging geopolitical backdrop likely sustained gains, they say. They expect continued growth in gold ETF holdings across major markets, as underlying long-term factors remain robust. Central bank gold purchases are also likely to accelerate in 2H, they add. Any price pullbacks are likely to be shallow in the short term as bullish momentum continues. ANZ also expects gold to reach a near-$4,000/oz peak by June.

Thats not a Rejection, some would call it a bear trap. I agree sells make sense, but from higher prices and then aiming back towords that current bear/Sell trap.

I personally wait for after the news

Imo 3654-3664 will be good sell zone. For now price, it's too early to enter short
1 see confirmation till the end 2. set SL and never cancel it

don't be fooled by these news titles and try to understand its impact on gold price

this is just a false flag to divert attention from the rare earths reserve in Ukraine which both are fighting for

price movement on chart is more important

Weaker USD. If USD loses value, more USD is needed to buy the same ammount of gold (Higher prices) You can see it either by DXY or USD/XXX and XXX/USD currency pairs. Or Gold priced in other currencys like CHF or JPY

But as Polimini sayed, its might as well have to do something with Poland and Russia

There is not just one reason, multiple factors and you cant pinpoint it out for one clear reason. But most of the time USD is key since Gold is priced in USD

In this market sitaution i wouldent look for Sell reversals like that, rather follow strong bearish momentum for sells, even if that seems harder to do.

I love Poland, lived there for a few months, but it’s not really important to Gold imo (or the US lol)

but yeah it plays into the bigger narrative which is geopolitical uncertainty , multiple active wars and attacks happening everyday, from Middle East to Russia, Ukraine.

so basically global war paired with trade wars, tariffs, weak economic data and similar things sends gold soaring like it did in Covid or any uncertain times , it’s not a pretty picture and it’s funny how we look to profit from that, but that’s a story for another day
