We are right in tipical ATR of GOLD for the day, more than 75% of the times is this, buying at 75% of it like news appear is risky because there will be reaction there too.
You all can call it profit taken, for me is a pattern and a wall.
If news really had impact should follow thru fast like yesterday.

im thinking because it kind of priced in negative data all day, we moved from 3541 to 3560 so now await further news tomorrow to give it another push either direction imo

As long as price holds above 3,500, the bullish bias remains intact, targeting the 3,600–3,620 zone. The broader pattern favors trend extension unless a deep pullback invalidates momentum. Overall gold is bullish till any solid news. IMO tomorrow ADP Non-Farm Employment Change will be negative but on friday Non-Farm Employment Change will be possitive.

You can see this, one is high time frame accumulation, one is ltf, therefore their test also different

Like i said before we are all right analising the market, the edge is not the strategy, is the context.
Please rewind Gold data to check how many times this kind of moves happen in H4.
First go check, then comeback and talk what was their extensions and retracements...
You all want or see trading as mecanical, but is not. Experience counts and is why all of us take our time to be consistent because at begining we only focus on strategy, forgetting context, patterns, and even probabilities.
The longer we continue in this spiral, the greater is the likelihood of a pullback than an expansion. You can apply whatever concepts you want, and with each candle, you buying the odds are reduced each day 100% certainty!
You want bullish targets? Is easy to me figure it out, not in a straight line and when the retracement happen will be deeper.

Man, gold is really make me out of target right now, im gonna clueless if price keep move to 3600 -.- those are my final destination for gold, no more lol. This never happen before, even in backtest of 198x those move from 3200 contain soooo much IMB and liquidity but no trace back
