That's never a 100% avoidable risk!
You need to take into account not only swap, but commissions, too.
And commissions may be deducted twice: on trade open, and on trade close.
Also, we never know the future spread, and we never know the possible slippage.
We never know under what market conditions the trades will be closed, so there is no such thing as risk-free BE price...

The histogram will repaint, and it will repaint dramatically, because the overall direction will be established only when the plot period ends.
Before it ends, the direction may change, even many times, so what's the use of such BS for trading???
You saw some locally optimized picture, post fact, on historical data, posted by a fraud coder, and you believed that the indicator was good???
You need to open your eyes and see what's really going on!

The problem is that You are still approaching trading in the wrong way!
You want to know what will happen - and you can not know that!
You need a method which will help you make decisions what to do, not to know what will happen because some indicator is showing something.
Especially that the indicator is such that it will repaint many bars back...

Master please is it possible that a session H-line indicator open H-line as a candle open h-line (that opens with a bold and stretched line not as very short tiny line as un seeable line) like area marked X
i have checked several session H-line but all have this short line in common
please kindly share if you have or any reference will help

Then set the time parameters to the session open time you want.
The indicator also has a unique id, so you can use multiple instances.

The attached screenshot was for an indicator called TREND PLUS informing us when candle changes color ... input setting is.....RISK..3......SSP... 9......COUNT BARS...350.. please what setting according to the input can i give one arrow alert indicator you helped me to modify sometimes ago? The arrow is working fine i only need the correct setting for it to flow with the color changing direction of the TREND PLUS. Thanks

hi coders
I have an EA file but it doesn't run when back testing.
Checking on mql5, there is no error message
but when putting it on mt5 chart, it doesn't run
This EA's condition is very simple:
Condition 1: closing price above EMA then exit sell order and vice versa
Condition 2: when price reaches risk ratio 1:2 then move stoploss to Entry
can someone help me fix it i would be very grateful for that. thanks

Do I have the TREND PLUS indicator???
Maybe I do, maybe I don't?
If you want something, you need to supply what is needed to do the job.
Or experiment for yourself.

BTW, you probably need to use a faster slow MA, or even modify both MAs.
I don't have the source code of TREND PLUS, so how can I possibly adjust the 2 MAs crosses to fit exactly???

There is no trade opening logic in this EA.
Thre is only trade.PositionClose(ticket);
and trade.PositionModify(ticket, newSL, 0.0); logic.
And, if you want this EA to manage any positions, you need to set:

If that input is "true", the positions must have the same Magic Number assigned, or the EA will ignore them.

This EA is taking only sell trades even though both long and shorts have been enabled in the general settings for the platform though it does not have individual settings in the ea itself per say.. Can this be looked into please. Thanks in advance. I have only the ex4 file.

you can do this:

extern bool   inRecoveryMode       = false;      // Flag indicating if recovery mode is active
And you will have this parameter in inputs, and turn it On.
PS. You need to use extern in this case, otherwise more changes are needed.

Also, you didn't do:

tp=NormalizeDouble(tp,_Digits);
That can be the problem, too.
Not to mention, that volumes are long, and slippage is int.
