Why does Powel talk about tarrif concerns ?
I mean the way he is going about this is conflicting because generally inflation is considered a currency strength as we have all learned.
AND of course that is contrary to what everyone else wants and perceives as being good but in fact most none traders do not want higher interest rates but lower rates.
Soooooo.... if concerned about tarrifs, which Powel perceives as inflationary, then why not raise rate since his narrative is already worried that inflation is still too high with concerns about future inflation from tarrifs.
He seems to be in confict with his own self, and yet there is no reason to pro actively keep rates high based on speculation about tarrif inpacts.
I don't get this guy.
