Pretty soon it's going to be like the end of Friday Night Lights....full on mutiny and Billy Bob is going to have to walk off into the night solo.

.....I just don't see that happening until November of 2028....


In other news, remember 5 days ago when the markets were pricing in a 15% chance of TWO Sept rate cuts????

...maybe this is just laying the groundwork for Powell's press conference tomorrow wherein he is no doubt going to say "we believe current monetary policy is restrictive, but the economy is resilient. We will continue to watch the data and remain committed to our dual purpose mandate."

Not especially imo, everything is just in an established range, bouncing around on very low volume waiting for Powell. No market movement this week can be taken seriously, tomorrow’s close matters.

I think she is just jawboning, there are definitely hawks and doves on the committee, with such mixed data it’s to be expected they will start to fight it out to see which side has the majority. We get a lot of data between now and the next fomc, that data will decide for them I think.

Don’t know about that, but it is obvious most liberals are angry most of the time, not sure why. Life is very short, and goes by much faster than people think. Don’t see the point in being angry most of the time. In my experience the more liberal you are, the more angry and prone to violence you are. On the flip side, the more religious you are the less nice and less tolerant you are.
