just an idea. because oanda charges ridiculously high for its api. also, because all i would use api is for sending out orders generated by my fully automated system.
so here goes:
i would run a EA on MT4. relay the orders generated to an intermediate program that i have created. this intermediate program would execute a series of prerecorded macros. ie.(recorded mouse cursor, and keys to press for a buy order on the oanda platform).
so basically
EA on MT4 generates a buy order. the intermediate program has set of prerecorded macros for executing buy/sell/limit/stop/ orders (of course it would adjust to depending on the screen position of the oanda platform) on the oanda platform.
so this would be equivalent of telling someone to physically press keys to order. but a prerecorded macro keys would let me do this very fast. which is sufficient.
i just wanna know whether this is a bad idea or not. but im desperate, i can't use mbt because im in a rogue state, and last choice is oanda.
