terrible end of the week, gave back most of my profits on Thursday still recovering lol. Oh well on to the next week. Fresh chart, fresh psychology

I usually travel with gold on liquidity hunt and then enter a trade..
So, I left a sell limit at 3346 with open SL (min lot).
Now if market opens at 3350(if) then my sell will be from 3350
3346 is atmost(it can remain unfilled as well)

Saturday thought and something I am going to really focus on the rest of this month...I went in way too heavy on Thursday, out of my trading plan and comfort zone and it backfired. Focus small, win big(ger)

Compounding profits. Depending on your account size, small or average profits really do add up. In forex, a $1,000 account making $5 trades a day comes out to about $60 per day (depending on your SL) $60 a day, 5 days a week is $300 profit. $300 a week, 4 weeks a month is $1200. $1200 a month, 12 months a year is $14,400. Obviously, this is a perfect scenario of green weeks every week but not bad for a part time trader! If you average more than $60 you are in even better shape. Think small, bank your profits and protect them!

I was doing this without even realizing it and then stepped outside of my (working) box and made careless mistakes. Stay in your lane!

yeah, i agree, small wins do add up if you learn to control your greedy which can make you think you can make more or force a trade so that you can archive your daily goals. even though a breakeven day is better than a negative one.
