Also happen to me in the past when I was still trading news
I put buy stop and sell stop order near current market price just before news release
Expected: wherever price go, I will be in profit (if price spikes up my buy stop is triggered with profit, if price spikes down my sell stop is triggered with profit)
Actual:
- in the distant past, it works as expected
- nowadays, it no longer works (my sell stop is filled at the very bottom of spike, my buy stop is filled at the very top of spike)

sorry i wasnt clear enough. its leg (c) of wave (2) so another 5 waves down.

i assume this is a corrective wave. in daily, looks like this downtrend is forming subwave (2) of wave (5) but i could be wrong though. if this counting is correct we could be anticipating to ride subwave (3) of wave (5) surfing up for new ATH.
