daily range by DeMark’s R1&S1:
3373.64
3309.83
it’s quite wild after yesterday.., gonna be it reduced first to ease breaking out somewhere (?!)
3349.34 is a middle of daily
3331.97 MPP, been printed but..,
and for now, imo, i see
3342th/…daily open price - 3362th as working range

Gold is currently fluctuating between 3340 and 3360. If the price continues to trade below 3360, it could fall below 3340 and test 3330. The recommended strategy is to buy low and sell high, and then follow the trend once the direction is confirmed.

hello Guys,
well 3350 is done,
CPI will be tricky, infation also,
because if CPI is good but NFO was bad,
market could react very different then most traders expect,
if i were you i will stay away from GOLD should retrace for me it will be above 70-75 better i will love to see 80 again.
anyways we have this friday Putin and trump meeting in USA this is first time since 1989
that is kind of a big deal.
russian coming after the cold was in russia, well that will be fun to watch,
and trust me like i said before, there will be no tarrif on gold,
china whould have loved that.
because then he can get more gold from swiss to china,
and those numbers you see on news thats not even close to the real ones
because no country in the world will ever reveal how much gold they have.

anyways just be careful if you are selling gold today,
patience might be your best friend today.

remember Risk management is the only way to survive in this market.
just saying i know many dont care they chase moves even small moves and that is fine because everyone has their own system their own mind set.

just remember those who survived i can promise you they didnt had goals, daily goals or weekly goals, or even monthly goals,
they just trade, and what ever the the out come at the end of the month if it si 5% or 20%
just dont force youself into a TRADE just because you think or 15 M or 5m chart is telling you.

CPI well that i still cant figure out where big boys are leaning today,
hopefully i will get some data before the news to see where the big money is putting their limit orders,

oh dear do you really think they will publish their real results,
even investors have no idea what is going on,
its a big bloody money pool.

i have these mistakes in the past for years.
COT report etc.
until i learned how the real money moves or how they are always in profit at the end that is what mattered.

just an advise

XAUUSD will likely stay choppy until the US CPI - &IMO - USD pairs could see sharp spikes in both directions after CPI. -- What’s everyone’s take on this?

Pretty sure these COT refs have same or close to "REAL" CME data/what have you.

They're seeing same numbers/position changes aren't they? Even if you have paid ones.

No way, they have "Real real" data and trying to "manipulate thE markEt".

You just gonna have to understand the reason behind their sentiments/why they change. (macros/fundamentals/geopolitics/etc..)

Yeah, makes sense. 3340 is a solid intraday support before the news. If it breaks early, we could see momentum push it lower. For me, there’s no clear zone formed here in my strategy, so I’ll just wait for news reaction before deciding.
