Hello everyone, I'm following this topic and seeing a lot of usefulness in your creation xkwisit2001, I did a back test in trading view with it and the results are good, I'm using it with a market structure indicator smc, in m5 structure and m1 execution

For this week, I think if price closes above 3369 price is going to be bullish seeking out the high of 3393.

If price doesn't close above 3369 then there could be a pullback towards 3345 - 3330 or a little lower which could be more likely.

So any selling I do this week will be with this in mind but I'll be prepared for the pullback as it seems volume is dropping as price is going up.~

3350 is the area to look out for at the moment though for anything bearish.

Great Nova entry here as you can see the repeated liquidity sweeps

See how nova gives entry when its over & barely any drawdown on first signal

I had my area marked out (yellow line) for retest

I hope you are doing well.
First of all, thank you to the dear trader xkwisit2001.
Would it be possible for you to share the name of the SMC indicator?
And could you please explain under what conditions, on the 5-minute timeframe, you use the direction as a reference for entries on the 1-minute timeframe?
Is it solely based on a break of the major swing, or also the minor swing?

I use the indicator on m5 to define the structure, I don't care much about the m1 structure, it may seem strange but it's what's working for me, follow the indicator's fts

Dear Frond, thank you.
Do you consider the minor level for the breakout or the major level? Which one do you think is more valid?
And after the breakout, do you look for entry conditions on the 1-minute timeframe?
Or do you wait for a pullback on the 5-minute chart and then decide to enter on the 1-minute timeframe?

This is yesterday's gold chart that I was following live using the Nova indicator.
In my opinion, pullbacks with low volume — where the signal line is unable to shift the signal — make for cleaner and more ideal entries.
Because this is a confirmation that the buyers did not have much strength, the next Nova signal for a sell will be stronger.
If anyone has any thoughts, I’d be happy to hear them.

If we break to the downside we could be revisiting the H1 50% fib again where the bulls will be before a move back up to reach the highs.

Should this happen I'll be waiting for an EMA flip away from the 50% area.... or lower.

Counter trend trading is ok if the range low break & retest and stays lower but I don't like to stay in too long... only as far as 50% for me.

On the upside I mentally have 1 of these 3 scenarios... but yeah... a good ema flip away from any of these areas and then we can target the H1 high

I like to see you marking structure and when the better entries are

Once price gets to some sort of old low or poi then you just have to wait for a decent pullback to continue.

Only issue is some pois will reverse which is why I like to see price moving away from an old poi and then the EMA's flip.

That ensures you can be in the trend at the start and then head to the next poi.

Can see we're in H1 imbalance poi... there was a strong push into 50% of it (blue dotted line) and bearish volume is weakening.

But all our job is to do is wait for the bullish volume to kick in and trade the flip.

Never know though, we could turn bearish at any time so keep that in mind.

Funny how we get the push into POI just as NY is opening

Because of the news I would prefer to see price turn bullish and trend for the rest of the session where I'll get into entries.

With the idea of the H1 imbalance being there it is possible to trade what nova gives towards it. That's what makes it so good... You can trade it almost anywhere as long as you have an idea of where it may stop.

My bias is bullish at the moment because we're still on the positive side of the H1 fib but of course things can change.

Once you see the emas flip then you know price has been rejected if it's following your bias.

Imbalance filled and now we've hit the 38.2 fib.

Cmon NY news, I'm just here for the reversal and will be sad if it doesn't happen

I think you're looking at a different fib to me. I'm using the H1 from 10th July. So shows as 38.2.

But either way... Fibs still working for us
