I don't mean to be too negative but I doubt montygoldy is going to like trading with Darwinex based on his style.

Absolutely no way. Some seem to enjoy the thrill of being all-in all of the time. I understand exactly what he is doing....he has his own business model.
Pay $50-90 for an eval and look at it as a risk on one trade in a personal account. Even if you win 25-33%, ROI is still fantastic.
Where some see it as gambling, it really isn't, it's simply one trade with a risk of $50-90, when it hits you now have $2,500 to trade with.

Ah the all-in thrill, I miss that thrill. Maybe I will buy some futures accounts after all just to go all in.

Essentially, it's like having a $5K personal account and risking 1-2% per trade (Monty does an eval instead)
Now assume a 33% win rate with a 1:1 risk reward, you are a losing trader on personal.
Assume the same with a prop costing $90 and a 33% win rate on eval and the same on sim, you're running like a 150% ROI.
Of course, once you have a payout or two, it's perpetual, payounts fund new evals and none of your money is ever at risk from that point.

hey pip,

Since the futures side has gradually turned to shit with rule changes and more denials, I completely changed up my approach to props..... I now run evals @ 25% dd risk (4 losses to bust) and do the same in funded to quickly get to payout thresholds.... as the account bal quickly grows the static position size risk per trade gradually reduces to more responsible levels, once around 6-7K bal the risk of busting the account is pretty much eliminated. my eval pass rate is around 66-70% and eval to payout threshold rate is around 40%.. Buy/reset 5 get 2 to payout level.

I have pretty much been sticking to the incumbents... bulenox, Apex (no issues in 2 yrs other than payment delays last spring & recent request for explanation of strategy), topstep, take profit, MFFU, Blusky, tradify... recently added Tradeday to mix and I have also dabbled with 2 newer firms lucid trading S2F & Phidas with good payout experiences so far.

I forgot another newer one i've used... Daytraders, very similar to apex (not as yolo friendly on evals though due to lower contract limits), the ceo was a former partner @ apex, developed their backend tech & is currently suing them.

Exactly same approach... Get the funded account fast or bust.... Then bullet run for the first payout. Then go slow.....

My stats are -
Usually pass accounts within 3 tries.
Usually gets to 1st payout within 2 tries....

THis is my mantra this year and paid out really well keeping the cost very very minimal and nett profit very very high.....

Bought a 50K advanced acct from Tradeify on Friday and passed last night after midnight PST.

Dashbaord doesn't update until the next day so I'm assuming I won't get any emails about activation payment until tomorrow.

Any insights from Tradeify users about funded accounts. Haven't heard about any payout issues.

I use the Straight to Funded accounts at Tradeify.....no issues whatsoever.....great choice.

well, I use the STF, so much different than most. I target $300-350 per day, so it can take up to 2 months on this type of account. Once 1st payout is cleared, 2nd one only requires 1/2 be made and then can withdrawal every 7 trading days, so 3 times per month.
The STF is much more expensive, so I trade it as if max loss was my personal account.
The approaches discussed earleir today can have you pass in 1 day and get paid the next if with a firm with no consistency or min trading days.
Monty gets em done and paid much quicker than most.....all depends on your style.

Minimal time as possible....
FOr example - 50k account (if 1 day pass available then do it in same day or 40% then pass in max 3-4 days)...

On funded - My target is 3k to ask for a payout... So i aim 1k for first two days (if losses then continue this approach until reach 2k profits) then rest of days go over the 3k target.
