In my profession, I learned pretty early on not to use big words on plansets. (It can be rather hard to dumb down some engineering terms & concepts, but I tried.) I would have grown men, overseeing mullti-million $ construction jobs, who obviously could not read. I had to sit down with same, multiple occasions, and explain what "10%" means. Tbh, this was not funny, and really made me sad at the time....
