Musk will only gain support from disillusioned Republicans, no Democrats. So all he will succeed in doing is helping Democrats by splitting the republican vote. That will infuriate Trump which is his main aim

It’s possible for him to succeed, not competing with the two main parties, but by putting his candidates in a position to spoil the party for dems and republicans.

I see little to no chance that he can setup a third party to compete nationally, but he can win a couple dem senate seats and a couple republican senate seats. That would allow his new party to block any bill that goes too far from either side.

I'd like to believe something positive can happen with this plan, but its too far gone. Washington is an all too powerful insescitous crime organization. There are some good ones but the damage is done.

I’m not a fan of Cuban, but he can bring dems to the cause.
He actually replied to Musk and acted like he would like to be part of Musk’s plan.

I honestly believe there a lot of people here who are tired of the extreme left and extreme right. Not bankrupting the country is a nice goal too lol.
