I would guess it was Nova as the entry was in line with it... but all this ICT SMT OB FVG stuff just complicates trading and keeps people confused.

I dare say that Nova is a master piece! @xkwisit2001, I can't thank you enough for your contribution you've made to the FF family. Today I've made a net of 10:1, of course there were a few losses. But 10:1 ......... Its a marvel.

I mentioned the whole other stuff because that is the reason why the average trader struggles. Too much information that makes zero sense lol.

10:1 amazing! - yes losses are normal and part of business. If you can do that every day then you'll never ever be afraid of a loss.

There are multiple ways to profit with Nova which I've shown but the great thing is seeing others come to their own conclusions as to how they want to use it.

I'm very happy to hear it's working for you. It's really nice to hear things like that as it certainly helps others who are either on the fence or think it's too good to be true... guess what? It's free to use!

Trading doesn't have to be hard, the main enemy for every trader is their mindset. Once you get past that the results can be limitless!

If anyone else uses Nova and just lurk the thread, please share your wins & losses for others to study. It will really help out others.

Just to add, I am not saying other trade theories/systems don't work but I just prefer simplicity... I don't really care about the ins and outs of why we get manipulated... I care about stacking my RR without stress.

Again, I'll show something interesting about using Nova for high RR.

I wouldn't trade against the trend but this is an example!

Today (monday) on the H1 price is in a downtrend but there was a strong pullback today. If you mark out the areas price will return to you'll see that it has returned there today which is near the 61.8 fib level. Anyway it can keep going higher.

However if you take the first neutral nova background (I defo wouldn't do, this is an example) you'll see if you set a trade to the most logical area price will go it would be a 3.3RR on the H1. (below)

Now lets go down to the M1 at the point where the H1 entry opened and I'll mark the majority of trades (yellow line entry).

That is roughly 67RR! so what I am saying is if you have the mindset to do it... it's possible.

That is all within 5 hours and you can check it yourselves... There's no deceit here and that is what I am trying to show.

If someone can debunk it then that would be amazing but I am just showing that even in an extreme way you can be somewhat profitable even if you only took 2R from all of that lol

Oh if we add the original H1 trade at 3.33RR then the total would be up to 70.3RR total if you had the balls to hold for that whole time.

Signal line crossing the 0 level in direction of the trend signals bullish pressure (if uptrend and vice versa).

Waiting on the background colour change and the histogram volume bars is entry on the open of the 3rd bar after colour change in your direction.

Make sure EMA's are supporting the direction and also that price isn't too far from the EMA's when there is a signal otherwise you may get caught in a pullback before the real move.

Thank you. Infact I Showed my boy who just finished university how to use the NOVA with zero trading experience. I told him to just follow the signals as he learns how to trade. Apart from one day he had a losing day, the rest have been profitable.

the trades were based on nova, ema bounce and price action (price action in my subjective view ) . one important piece is of course the repeating of patterns...below i took a shot from PA just little time before - you sure see the similarity

Nova doing it's job on XAU USD - almost 14R or 13R with the 1 possible loss or break even

I did actually take a trade from the nova signal that occured after the pullback and I want to show why it wouldn't be a good idea to take the signals that appeared after (marked with an X)

It's because price was heading to the high where it could reverse from so for me after that first entry I wouldn't enter again until I see a clear break of the high with a retest OR if price reverses which I'll then wait for the EMA flip to the downside.

It is also vital to watch the signal line and see what it is doing. If it hasn't dropped below the 0 level with a pullback then I would be cautious.

Just closed my gold longs based on the M5 nova. Its at the structural high as you point out but also at the 20 day ADR. If Im in doubt I drop down from m5 to m1

Gold is golding today!

Just managed 8R not long ago which is great.

  1. First trade I entered straight after the rejection candle as it was a retest and targetted the high.
  2. Second trade was a classic nova entry style (3rd bar open).

I didn't take the first nova signal because the bars were just too big and usually massive volume could be a push to run the high and I'd never achieve a 2:1 on such entry.

I prefer when the volume is lower for the first 2 bars.

Finally connected my IC to tradingview but I am not sure whether to stay on MT4 at the moment for executions.

Hope you're all grabbing those R's today!

Price ran the high and started what could be a reversal on the M1

Could most likely just be a pullback on the H1 though so slap a fib on your charts and keep an eye on the 50% and 61.8% areas.

Edit: This is a perfect example of why we wait for the EMA's to flip before taking Nova sell entries in this instance.

Buy's would be when there is a clear push up and then first pullback to EMA's (make sure they have all flipped back into the bullish direction).
