I don't think the Fed is doing a good job, I think it's doing a terrible job. However, Trump is doing even worse, so unless he would suggest that perhaps the Fed should hike rates to deal with inflation, he shouldn't be suggesting anything at all. Cutting rates is going to be a disaster moving forward for the purchasing power of the USD and I don't see any Fed member talking about hiking rates which is exactly what the Fed should be doing. Trump calling for lower rates just proves how little he understands anything.

In theory, the Fed is doing an amazing job if we're looking at the government reported data. The problem is that this data is way off from the real numbers, something that any Non-NPC will confirm. Inflation data is wrong, job data is wrong. Inflation is much, much higher and the labor market is much, much weaker than reported. The economy is far from solid, and traitorous current administration is doing everything to make the problem even worse.
