One more trade to close the month..
Still far away from the first payout (Tradeify), but with a little bit of luck next month ( at the end) i will be close..
PS: thank you guys for recommendation, the hardest part was getting used to tradervote, but i used monty strategy ( using TV or metatrader) and only opening the trades in tradervote

Intraday basis yes it is difficult to go but on weekly it is possible.

I do DCA until my lot size is done. 5k account, 1 standard lot.

Mostly on intra day basis i take profit.

If my entry is not fairly accourate it might take longer time, but..to me no.

tradovate is good but projectx is even better if you use multiple browser tabs for different firms... its faster and have better bracket order settings when copying trades between accounts...

Still working on them.....

currently at 1800$ drawdown.... 2 days abck to back 600$ loss (kept on buying).....

Currently treating them as personal account so not trading this week... as its look like bear week on gold.. and i am a buyer....

In general all these days, never happened.

But.. let us see.

My point is to work on lot size. Fixed lot size. 1 lot for 5 k account.

Should not encounter bigger proglem on a longer run

after many years of trading forex only i have similar insights as far as the lotsize is concerned.

When using DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging), how do you space out your trades?

to trade futures in prop account, very high skill is needed.

What i post is not going to give you any insight. Neither any body's post here.

I would suggest you to open a FX demo with 500 dollar capital and start earning small money, say 10 dollar a day.

Onething you must know, by trading small lots, you will never loose your account.

It will do lots of good to your confidence.

People loose private account due to :

1) Irrelevant lot size
2) want to make 100 dollar out of 500 account by trading 1 lot
3) Accurate entry is next to impossible but fair entry price is possible

People here misunderstand that my stop loss is 500 pips. lol

A clear understanding is needed in this... my trade going against me by 500 pips is minimal to nil..

What lot size do you suggest on a $500 account?
What happens if you cannot make your profit before the end of the day? Close the trade or carry?

for 500 account, i choose 0.1 lot on gbpusd spot.

My trading entry is somehwat accurate but not very accurate. ( I assume this, because, one can not take accurate entry for ever !! )

If i do not capture 20 pips in a day, i leave it open and rely on theory ( my trade will not go against me by 500 pips )

Balance 10 days, i do not have to earn but if i come out of trade, break even , i am happy.

A trade going against by 500 pips is definitely difficult.

The key number here is how much to average down by if the trade goes wrong.

At what point do you make a 2nd or 3rd entry? Adding 1 mini lot at every -100 pips or some other figure?

So I just realized I average 5K profit every 5 weeks on my Tradeify account with 6K DD.
In theory, I should be able to open a 600 personal futures account and if I can essentially flip it every 5 weeks (which is what I am doing now).......my account will be 600K in a year.

no, averaging is not so important.
