This is market pricing.
Not actual FED decision.

When Market priced in deviates from FED decision, it can be called:

1. Dovish Disappointment Or Hawkish Surprise

2. Hawkish Disappointment or Dovish Suprise.

For 1. FED are more hawkish that market expected and vice versa for 2.

This happens rarely, but when it happens it cause large price displacement as repricing need to be done.

After some digging in library:

Possible long term scenario:

Debt ceiling: Reduction of SLR : Funding crisis : FED acts buyers (QE) : Bullish for Gold, Immediately to 3800 eventually to 5000+

Profit taking on longs : FED cut rate: Recession less likely : Money flows to yielding assets.
Before we get on a swing short setup, uptrend Chanel or Trendline must be broken, and 3322 level might be in play if we get a daily close below that level. Then 3050 might be next support zone.

It is my own thought and written in plain english, no AI was used in my response.

I guess majority here dont even have 3years+ trading experience because if someone was trading when FED was on its hiking cycle, many would already know what and how FED looks at (when they said they are 'data dependent') and when it is most likely to deviate from market priced in.


Now Intelligence and experience means your are an AI or aid of AI. Lol
