This is for today, until NY open. ( For today )

I am just trading the chart basically, with fixed lot lot size.

Today lot size 1.80 in GU only

Prop firms can be a good way to access capital if you have a solid strategy and discipline. Make sure to read all the rules carefully, especially around risk limits and profit splits. Consistency is key — don’t chase big wins. Also, test your approach on a demo account first to avoid surprises.

Be aware of OneUp Trader, on the 25k account you can trade ONLY 3 micros.... , it is not like other firms 3 minis = 30 micros, I just got off chat cause I have 3 micro positions open and they would not allow me another trade. Once Funded they told me it will go higher....

you can trade 3 ES contracts in the 25K account

Upon passing OneUp evaluation I see you'll have to pay activation fee of $65

To start a futures prop firm what are all the resources needed?

I dont know futures. Most of them seem to be made by agencies, I'd imagine it is similar to the cost of CFD one. I know ninjatrader makes millions per month from Apex.

Yes for sure, but only 3 micros too.... not 4 or more, like other props 3 minis = 30 micros, not here
For a $1500 DD, I personally and I am sure many others would not want to trade full contracts, I don't like gambling
Anyways I just bought the $10 deal to play get a feel of the company

Hi Takis, can you be so kind as to give a hint, without giving away your strategy of course. Is it based on a single Tf or Mtf? Breakout or pullback within a trend.. Indices only right? etc

trend following and yes indicies. Enter where you would put your stop loss.

I'm searching their site for the activation fee, but strangely cannot find any mention of it at all. The $65 fee might be their regular schedule, but under their new offer it is $10.


Edit: their support has just confirmed it is $65

Thanks a lot. nowadays I try to catch the speedy moves within an intraday trend, so waiting for price at what would have been my sl haven't brought much luck using pending orders. I guess I'll have to improve on it
