Trend line that acted as a resistance, although the resistance wasn't strong, is now being retested and could be used as a support.

XRP continues to lack demand while Bitcoin continues to make new highs. Yes, XRP is faster and cheaper than Bitcoin, and therefore, better. But it's not about the tech in this market. Most people simply don't care about the tech. It all comes down to gains. For years, Bitcoin has proven to be a better investment. And XRP behaves more like a stable coin. I just don't see how these wild price predictions people are making about XRP are ever going to pan out. Even a ten dollar XRP seems unrealistic at this point. If it had more demand, then it would be more believable. But it doesn't.

Although the price has dipped below the trend line, it didn't close below it on the chart which is suggesting that the trend line is indeed acting as the support. Move higher is expected.

In this space, pretty much every coin except BTC is just a pump and dump. I still remember a few months back when XRP shot up like 30% in a day and even hit $3.30. It was wild then, of course, it dropped just as fast.

Yep, Bitcoin has proven itself. I regret not going all in on it. Like many people, I fell for the alts, and as a result, I missed the boat. As for XRP, who wants it? It has no demand. The way I see it is the only people who want it are XRP enthusiasts. Even Ripple and its founders don't appear to believe in it. If they did, then why do they keep selling it to retail? It looks more like their precious cash cow. And the excuses people keep making to justify its lackluster performance are absurd.

I agree and that's bc Bitcoin is the only really decentralized coin out there. No ties with a person or a company, just pure blockchain tech. At least that's what we all now about it so far. Other coins being tied to real persons or companies are just not "decentralized" enough which makes them no different than the fiat currencies we use today in terms of being decentralized.

For moving money, XRP is fast and super cheap, which is why it will probably never succeed. Banks are not in business to save consumers money but to squeeze as much as they can get out of us. I see XRP as a failure. Not because the tech sucks but because Ripple and its founders got greedy.

Honestly i don't see any potential from XRP even for transactions. For one, when there are stablecoins like USDT (which i use a lot) XRP is not stable per se compared to it. And for two, i like using Tron (TRX20) network while being able to send/withdraw USDT. And it's super fast and cheap.

Despite XRP being a very popular name, i never even seen Ripple's network being a popular option in big crypto exchanges such as Binance. I also haven't seen Ripple network being available for USDT. Which is also a bummer.

Ripplenet is available for use directly from your bank account for QNB (bank) in my country. Which seems like a cool feature at first, but then where's the decentralization users are looking for?? If im gonna withdraw money to my bank acc using Ripplenet, the government will also see the source of the money. Which will result in government demanding tax from it.

All in all as a guy who makes monthly transactions using cryptos for several years now, i have never used XRP or Ripplenet so far. The availability is still very low. As a user i'm not even given the option to use it.

The price is still in a consolidation phase. Trend line continues to hold. Move higher is still expected.

If it closes below $2.08, which is highly likely at this point, then it is probable it will make its way down to $1.76. When the Bitcoin bull run comes to an end, XRP will likely go much lower. And then it will likely be 3 - 4 more years or longer of waiting for it to return to its ATH.

Outside of retail, there is apparently no real demand for XRP. If this changes, then we could see a much higher XRP. But for now, there is no logical reason to believe things are going to change.

The price broke and closed below the trend line. Now, we are seeing that the price has managed to retest the trend line, however it failed to break higher which is suggesting that what was once a support is once again becoming a resistance. Further decline in price is expected at this point.

The price broke above the trend line, however move higher was rejected and the price is once again below the trend line. Fundamentals remain very good.

It seems that the price consolidation could be near its end. The price is soon going to get volatile according to the triangle pattern that is pretty much finished. Trend line, from the point of where the big rally took place, and the trend line, from the point of where the price made an all-time high are forming the triangle. Since the price is above the triangle at the moment, it is expected that the price will go markedly higher, potentially making a new all-time high. We still need to see a convincing rally to be sure, however. Violent move (spike) to the downside is never off the table if the price is ready to move markedly higher.

We also have something else... the rumours started to spread that the XRP might potentially dissapear from the exchanges according to some speculators.

Here is what one of the speculators had to say:

Coins are quietly being taken off exchanges, and with every transaction, a small amount of XRP gets burned forever. This isn’t just noise — it’s setting up a massive supply shock.

XRP’s Supply Is Shrinking Fast

Every time someone transfers XRP, 0.00001 XRP is permanently destroyed. That might seem like nothing, but when millions of transfers happen, it starts to add up.

According to fresh data from CryptoQuant, Binance’s XRP holdings have dropped from 2.94 billion to around 2.86 billion just this year — that’s 82 million XRP gone. And if you include coins being moved off exchanges into private wallets, it gets even more serious.

Since January, around 183 million XRP have been quietly withdrawn from Binance alone. These aren’t small moves. This tells me people are preparing to hold for the long term — and they don’t want to risk leaving their XRP on exchanges.

But as the hype cooled, we saw something different: people weren’t selling, they were withdrawing. Now XRP is holding steady around $2.50, and some are worried. But me? I think it’s just a pause.

What if this is the last chance to grab XRP before it becomes nearly impossible to find?

XRP ETF Could Change Everything

Here’s where it gets even more interesting.

There’s a 90% chance that we’ll see an XRP ETF approved by the end of 2025. If that happens, big institutions — banks, asset managers, hedge funds — will start pouring in. And they’ll need XRP to back it. That’s when demand could explode… and supply might simply not be there."

When we talk about ripple and its chances of it getting towards $100 is baseless and unimaginable. I have come across a lot of YouTubers calling out ripple as the next big thing. It indeed is the next big thing but the not in a price gain game but technologiCl advancement for central banks. Ripple is essentially not for the consumers but for the central banks.

Price responded to the lower trend line and it seems that the rally is all but imminent and one could argue it is already taking place. Price is convincingly outside of the triangle pattern and above the upper trend line as well. Also, let us not forget the main pattern that is still in play for quite some time now and that is a bullish flag pattern.

Also, we have some potentially high-impact news for the XRP soon. The rest of the fundamentals are looking very good.

"The SEC’s next roundtable on crypto regulation is scheduled for June 9 and may include a discussion of the ongoing Ripple case. SEC Commissioners Caroline Crenshaw, Mark Uyeda, and Hester Peirce are set to give opening remarks, along with SEC Chair Paul Atkins, according to the agenda."

"XRP jumps on hopes of ETF approval and Ripple-SEC settlement before the June 16 and 17 court and SEC deadlines."
