when he dont has a private account Performancechart long term (3 years, 5, 10 ... maybe one year ok with thousands of trades , but still more risky) with a good bigger broker , i would not trust him at all. its to easy to fake all this , often working together with prop and brokers to fake good wins or using money from selling courses to buy a lot of accounts and present best for use as marketing .

so funny how easy it is to cheat even experienced traders with so easy methods. always works, thats why its done so often again and again.

you really dont know all the methods how they can cheat, you often post about such people... at least you are sucessfull and dont get to much problems by believe in such fakes... but other can get really hit with this bullshit.

i see your point and i believe personal account is not the only factor to judge if anyone is profitable or not… if you ask me i dont have any personal account in futures thats my choice…..::
plus i understand faking is easy but as i said its hard to convince me coz i believe my own eyes…. I have been a regular at his stream and he is a profitable traders…
as i said i am his advocate… i personally take his content as inspiration the numbers he achieved…. Everyone has their own opinion

Hi monty , seems aall good traders suffer from being malined by so called traders asking for 1 ,5 or even 10 years of trading account when you ask them how will this help them in there trading as trading is a individual thinghy , they cant answer the question or is it a greed thing and then when they see the account stat they want you to feed them , kindest regards mate

Personal account is easy to trade comparitivly than prop account.
No rules to follow mostly.
To trade a prop account, high calibre skill needed.
One must be specialised in intraday scalping

On the other day, when i said make 4 % consistently .... people here were calculating it will be some Millions... and impossible and like that.

It is all about what one needs.

If one wants 500,000 by making 4 % a day, it is possible.
Making 4 % a day... for long duration, say 2 years, 5 years... not possible.

I suggested make 4 % daily, make 500,000 and then reduce the risk .

Profitable trader can make money anywhere.....

Plus if you think positively these rules actually help traders to become disciplined..... My risk management has improved so much since i started the props....... Before i used to blow up fast and last year i missed 47 payouts thats correct i kept the count by blowing up on last day of the payout cycle......

Now i am holding accounts longer and making nearly same amount of profits as well.....


1. Point 1 is RISK FACTOR when it comes to props when you lose you lose only challenge money or if you already got a payout then Nothing......
2. A simple math if you hold 5k personal account how long will it take to double it. I bet you'll going with 2-3% strategy it'll take too long but if you have 3x50k accounts which is equivalent to 6k drawdown and copy trade then it has higher chance to pull 1500$x3 payout with minimal time.

If you treat it as a business not as actual trading. It's the best thing happened to traders. Now they can leverage these firms to make monster money as quickly as possible.
For Example will BGF - 50$ account with potential of 1500$ payout in 5-6 trading days. There are no business out there that can generate such numbers with minimal investment and very fast as well

Now I read the rules - Tradeday has the worst evaluation rule - 30% consistency and minmum 7 trading days to pass evaluation.

it is opposite : all fake coaches (and we speak about coaches in this topic, maybe you missed the part??) bring your words and cant bring longterm performancechart because they often marketing different thing than they have in their own trading performance.

and what you total forget, we speak with Patrick Wieland about one who sells coaching and faked a lot in history ... that's why needs to be shown when you judge someone like this. (and any trader who know about risk management would do so!)... we don't speak about someone faking in forum... for example no one care about your performance, nobody would anytime ask you about this .... because nobody care about you are real or fake winner when you dont sell coaching or other.
nobody is also asking monty about his performance proof or performamcechart... of course can all be fake , but he dont sell something.

i would not believe you that you are knowing about risk management at the moment (because risk management is such a basic thing) , when you really dont know at least how to find out that Coaches (or other Sellers) dont fake (its basic rule number one for risk management in choosing coaches, to know is he a winning trader , a bad trader or a faker and knowing how they fake should be easy as experienced trader) . i cant teach you here the basics, but with your words you show big problem in understanding some parts here ... and i only judge what you write here.

maybe this are hard words for you.... but your text really is something only bad coaches and some bad traders write again and again and again (and in general you never should asked for this in your situation, or do you sell something?).

The result matters. He amassed quite lot of money even from worst prop firms.

He says he improved on Risk management compared to 2024.

I am sure he is on a vertical growth path.

Having said, it is not only the path available, but there are many options.

As i said, try 3 to 4 % every day with a 500 dollar account. Reduce it to 2 % growth per day at some time.
Reduce it to 0.5 % after sometime.

ah no, i dont do prop, opportunity costs much to big for me and i like more bigger wins, same like you say... more easy without rules.

what i i wrote was about risk management in general. risk management dont stop by position size and stoploss , its about a lot of topics ... and this include how to see someone fake when selling something. i cant let his wrong words stand around... that topic is one of the big reasons why so many traders fail - no risk management.

"result matters" is correct... but looking at cheatable results in coach business is not what you can mean by this or?

I mean Monty's results. He is not youtuber, what he says in this forum are truth.

May be his explanation about risk management in general is not accurate, but, to him he is managing risk in order not to loose account and make money thro prop firm.

ah you miss maybe a point, all i wrote was about this coach and coaching in general and risk management. nothing about other traders who dont sell something.

sorry, when it was maybe not easy to see this way, i thought i included the difference visible in my text (but english is not my nativ language, so maybe i write bad to understand English ). i mentioned only that it is not important to see performance chart from someone who dont sell something (here i mentioned monty only as example ...).

If you find that and happy with 20 pip per day, your growth would be exponential.

20 pip a day system will die fast when you scale it. The only systems that can survive all markets and liquidity issues are ones that are not tighten on stops and are gathering larger moves in the market. For example, 100 points on an index or 80 pips on eurusd. This is what is needed to scale trading and not have negative effects as you grow.

One issue is all these fake influencer have painted wrong picture of what trading is at retail level. No one has made 15 trades on gold during NFP and made 80k profit (as an example i saw by one african influencer).

It is far harder to make an income to afford luxury from trading than selling the dream of trading. If you make money to afford luxury purely from trading most likely you are not spending it on luxury until you have done the appropriate wealth building exercises (ETF's, mutual funds, bonds, real estate, other businesses). If someone is spending trading gains on luxury only then they will be bankrupt fast.

can you explain more the 20pips idea? i mean on ftmo you can go to 400k and then more..
