By the way, I caught the bullish movement during the Asian session when there was a gap. I treated the gap as an order block or demand zone. This kind of setup happens quite often in gold — when there's a gap, it can act as a zone where price react to it.

Resistance broken, 3370 out. We could see 3390 during the asian session. But not sure it would exceed 3412 by end week. Would need to retrace from 3390 to achieve 3412. Till then.

bulls next target 3396.12, as new target today ... but strong support 3370.66 - 3363.78 .......

After 1 pm est, the price may retrace.... and then a bear trend may continue. IMO

This kind pattern i see on sunday/monday/tuesdays

The price is consolidating within a 100-pip range. Exited 7 minutes before Powell speaks. Credit +0.20% (52 pips) for my little daughter, LOL . Let’s take another look after the red news later.

maybe a bit out of the subject of following price for today

I have a question, if I have a wallet of 20,000 usd and use 1 lot, with leverage 1:200

and enter only on swing trades like for example when gold is down by 1%, what is the danger that I will lose all my wallet

As I have not seen gold go lower in the last 2 months more than 3% in a day and somehow rebounds, so if I use a strategy of only entering gold trade when it is about 1% down, and wait and see how it will react, and if goes down more I will add another purchase if it reached minus 2% and minus 3% , as I noticed alot of times when I use stop loss it gets hit so my goal is not to use stop loss, and just enter gold when it reaches minus 1% and will add more purchases every 1% it goes down
using same 1 lot

The daily close will be above 3366. Hence this scenario, the revisit of 3336 is cancelled.
Price might retest 3366 and continue up.

Today, the aDTR 21 (average Daily true range) has increased to 772 pips, so the 1/3 aDTR 21 risk today is around 257 pips, for a 1% position, that still means 0.10 lots, while in the system, BE+1 after gaining at least 1/9 of the aDtr 21, which is around 86 pips. See ya after London Open.

Sentiment isn't too sour as VIX remains low and stock is mildly up, but gold nevertheless climbed 800 pips again yesterday thanks to USD selling and poor US data. Gold may see a retracement to 3350 / 3325 levels later today, and if the Xi-Trump talk does materialize further loss is likely, but too early to tell if this bull's run is done yet. Better to wait for a decent 1-hr / 4-hr red candle before trying to short this.

Update

3390 hit. what's next? I expect to see some retracement maybe to 3365-58. Then look out for what it intends to do.. break below or continue upwards.
