Gold is behaving odd and unnatural at the moment. Could take deeper dive, but a ski jump is forming as well. I'm going to wait.

His point is that you cannot predict the prices, therefore, you can't have strategies based on prediction that consistently lead you to success. Whether or not he was a real trader doesn't make a difference.

I agree about prediction-based systems; it is indeed very difficult to consistently win. However, it’s not only him who says that—many quant traders do too. But when someone says ‘a trader,’ it definitely has more meaning than someone who is not a trader; in my opinion, it’s definitely different. Practitioners certainly know more than just talkative experts.

For me is no trade, it will be ranging until news, so I don't know what is going to happen. What I know is now is ranging and there is not much volume or interest now.

So my guess is this

We have to be careful about what we project out into the future, because nothing else has the potential to create more unhappiness and emotional misery than an unfulfilled expectation.
Learning to accept the risk is a trading skill—the most important skill you can learn.

Right. Daily still looking Bearish. Close above daily high would confirm the bull run. Until then I'm waiting for 30 minutes sell candles to trade. Though today is slow. I prefer trading London session because it gives a better set up.

I don't bother with unnecessary arguments. No one's strategy is perfect. We can predict all we can but at the end of the day those who manipulate the market will set the trend and we the players can pick up their footprint and trade alongside them or lose if our prediction are wrong.

The first lesson to being a successful trader is accepting the uncertainties in the market and not think your strategy is 100 percent perfect.

if asian hold and 3305 break this is not a good sign
