Some thought on improving accuracy with this approach (comments on it thanks so we can evolve together)
I tend to do long trades when OI is rising and short trades when OI is falling.
It makes sense, increased liquidity and positions for long trades and vice versa...

Open Interest is one of the best indicators you could use, specifically for crypto.

Maybe you should combine this with an RSI or MFI or momentum indicator to detect divergences for stronger/double confirmations + extra signals.

Also add a bollinger bands to it with setting (15, SD of 1.5) on the RSI for breakouts. Lets see what it offers. What do you think?

I see crypto (altcoins) is turning bullish. SO buying dips would make sense.

Hi Lekkim

Welcome back and I hope you do well with this strategy.

I used to trade Crypto live on line with a couple of traders here on Forex factory, one of them was Ryuryu who was a real gun at trading Crypto Derivatives.
One of the major issues we had with Crypto back in 2022 was that we had to accept that we were trading with volume information from just one Liquidity provider only, and not the actual real market data that may exist. If you trade with Binance, you are sourcing their Liquidity only which is very different from say Bybit's data. We checked several Broker's data at found and found they were all so different, the data was almost useless to use.
Back in 2022, we did notice Binance's data was just plain wrong (in my history of posting), you couldn't use it for anything while the Liquidity produced by Bybit was close to spot on. Market share means little in the Crypto world if you are trying to source good data.
We ended up trading with Bybit.

My point being I recommend you trial your indicators with different brokers liquidity pools before you can develop any final strategy.

Thanks! That site is good yes for overall OI and VOL and daily change in that, however not something I use in this particular strategy.
https://app.laevitas.ch is a good overall tool in crypto trading.
