DislikedAbout DCA i also had some problems with DCA! I never in my trding experience did DCA except for very few trades (always ended in loss btw). but when I came to challenges where you can trade 15 or 20 contracts, itchy finger wants to reduce the entry price and adding on a trade even if wrong, and keep adding on the new candle, to see a trade going from -500 to straight +3200 is tasty! then you come to the funded stage, you repeat the thing, and they deny your payout. LOL I would say they are right indeed no one would ever push a 15contracts trade...Ignored
I actually prefer the DD, I will take a "position" and divide it into 3-5 "trades" with my risk on that position already calculated based on all of the entries. The reason the firms ban it is simply because it is an effective way of trading.
A lot view DCA as some type of martingale or add to losers type of practice, but think about this if I am trading 5 micros, split into 1 micro entries.....how the hell am I more of a risk than the guy throwing 10 minis on at one price, one entry?
It's simply another excuse to not pay and THEY KNOW folks using DCA are going to make money......if they know what they're doing.
