I am trying short position, entry, sl and tp on the chart.
cross fingers for me it is only my personal opinion and trade, do not follow

Edit: TP reached, booked half position, I wish it will fall to yellow line 3017.

tapped into the zone and had a small retracement, M15 - H4. Did not take any entry since i only had one confluence given which was volume slowing down...

i have to say that i thought the downwards move will be a bit more aggressive... hopefully it grabs down a bit more into my zone

this is my setup for today, green dots are also zones but not really high quality/promising...

the grey zone is a long zone.

Plots well in M15 - H1

There are multiple zones below that arey but i dont think gold will reach them today, if it would i will send analysis later today when it comes more near.

"pretty solid setup here too" is another minor zone which looks more promising than the other two

I sincerely don’t like trading at all time highs , you never can tell what’s going to happen at any given time …. This better be the beginning of the correctional move ….. or I’m going to crash out if it ends up becoming bullish again !!

we are almost at the minor buy zone("pretty solid setup"), strong short move from retracement zone moved as expected and confirmed main setup.

I wont risk too much. no need in risking money and loosing it to an expected move haha

Finally long overdue correction/retracement - FOMC vibes?

Will be watching 3018-3025 for a long entry, if it falls past this will NOT be trading for the day don't wanna be trying to catch a falling knife, too much on the line with FOMC later also.

am in on that trade, currently at 35 pips, have a better entry on another accoun too but only with 2.7 lots

i am already breakeven .... so i let the profit run risk free...

lol the way gold moves, you are really a bit too overconfident, it could easily shoot up another 50 usd, from here. And that's coming from someone who is currently short

could easily go up another 100$, what i could is is that trading volume got less but big investors are not predicatable so it could shoot up higher any time tbh, gold does not know limits, we all have seen that the last dew weeks, ATH after ATH...

60 pps now, trimmed some more, for following setups i will risk way less than normal, explais itself i think
