It looks like you would need to input the number of digits in this parameter.
GOLD isn't usually 4 or 5 digits.
That's why we should simply use _Point instead of making things more difficult than they are...

I would like you to create an EA that will Buy or Sell at a certain lot size (0.2 for example) that will automatically enter a buy or sell trade when the current candle closes [ above or below ] a horizontal line. I want two seperate horizontal lines. One for buying and one for selling. How soon could you get this done? Thank you.

You first need the .mq4 file and install it in the MQL5/Indicators folder.
Them change the mq4 to mq5.
Then open it in IDE.
Then complie it.

PS. You can't compile a file with .mq4 extension in MT5.

I don't understand why the ADVISOR closes the previous order when opening a new one, I thought the magic number would fix it, but it seems to be the case in the ADVISOR's code itself.

Let me try again to inspire someone by explaining the strategy I’ve been using manually for years, which has been consistently working. Below is the exact strategy:
Strategy Description
Indicator Settings

1. 200 EMA: Add this to the chart with the length set to 200, leaving the other parameters at their default values. The recommended timeframe for trading is the hourly chart. Purpose: Filters out consolidation phases – we don’t trade if the 200 EMA is in the cloud or touching the price.
2. Ichimoku Cloud: Modified by removing the conversion line, base line, and lagging span (optional), leaving the focus on the cloud. Settings: Conversion Line = 9, Base Line = 26, Leading Span B = 52. Cloud colors (green for bullish, red for bearish) can remain for visual insight, but they are not crucial for decision-making. Purpose: Shows momentum and trend – price above the cloud signals long, below the cloud signals short.
3. SuperTrend: Settings: Period = 10, Factor = 3 (default). Either the free or pro version is acceptable, with thicker lines for better visibility and removal of background signals. Purpose: Generates entry signals (green for long, red for short) and defines the stop-loss and exit points.

Entry Rules

1. Long Position: Price must close above the Ichimoku cloud. The 200 EMA must not be in contact with the cloud or price action. The SuperTrend indicator turns green, signaling a potential upward trend.
2. Short Position: Price must close below the Ichimoku cloud. The 200 EMA must not be in contact with the cloud or price action. The SuperTrend indicator turns red, signaling a potential downward trend.

Stop-Loss and Take-Profit

1. Stop-Loss: Set at the level of the SuperTrend indicator when entering the trade. As the SuperTrend line moves, the stop-loss adjusts (trailing stop-loss).
2. Take-Profit: The trade closes when the SuperTrend changes color (green to red for long, red to green for short), signaling a potential trend reversal.

Additional Elements

1. Cooling Period: After a significant price move (e.g., a strong trend), it’s recommended to avoid the next entry signal, as the market often enters consolidation.

Technically, I have been using this strategy live on a daily and weekly basis across multiple monitors, phones, and many open pairs and charts simultaneously, waiting for the right conditions to enter a trade. However, I’m reaching a point in life where I no longer have the time to sit and wait for days for these conditions to align.
That’s why I’m considering automation.

I will attach a script for TradingView based on this strategy that I created, and I will also provide graphical image showing the best moments to enter a trade.

Hopefully, the image will make it clearer how I want the EA to function.

I want to emphasize that the image illustrates how I would like the EA to function—it is not entirely the same as the original strategy. After years of experience, I believe the approach shown in the image for entry, TP, and SL can significantly speed up profits and improve ease of use, especially when applied to multiple pairs simultaneously.
Additionally, this idea is fully applicable to the 15M chart. The original strategy was designed for the 1H timeframe, and when applied as written, it works exceptionally well. However, over time, I found it too slow for my needs, so I started using the 15M timeframe for much faster entries and exits with a larger lot size.

I am looking for an indicator that can change only those DAILY candle colours specifically, THAT within a pre set time-range (MANUALLY adjustable set time-range would be better!) are High-Low candles.
If this is complicated, actually candle color isn't as important. I only want to distinct those H-L candles from other candles on the chart, maybe a mark (pipe or other signal) above -beneath on those High or Low candles within a preset timeframe is enough. The mark or signal maybe enough for appearing only on daily timeframe candles to make it simple. I want to see those candles on the chart visually and don't want to see H-L lines that are endless.
I hope I was as simple as possible.

why dont you just open an account with a Broker thats connected to Tradingview and trade the strayegy that you already have as code?
