Might break 3000 if inflation numbers are red tomorrow...and they most likely will be. But the break of 3000 might give bears some relief and a small correction could come afterwards.

The rejection I anticipated played out just as expected but what followed revealed the market’s dirty secret—liquidity runs the show.
While my bullish bias on gold remains intact due to strong safe-haven demand, the narrative was never about a straight-line move. I clearly mentioned earlier that gold wouldn’t move in a straight line and that pullbacks were expected.
Tuesday’s rejection and the ‘failed’ bullish close were no accidents.
It was a calculated liquidity raid designed to purge overleveraged longs before the CPI release. This once again proves that institutions don’t trade on “bias”—they trade into our stops, exploiting emotions and market positioning.
Wednesday’s early bounce into demand before my Thursday/Friday buy-the-dip window is still valid until Friday’s close.
If nothing significant happens by then, I’ll adapt and accept it—no entry for the entire week. However, the two supply zones overhead remain the real battleground. If they reject, the pullback thesis stays alive, aligning with my earlier outlook for a continuation drop. But if they break, risk vs. reward will take charge to control the loss.

Price Is an Illusion—Trade the Traps, Not the Trend.
This is how I always look at the chart. But please, do not act on this—every trader has their own unique style and personality. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

  1. Trader A could take a buy and close with a $100 profit, while
  2. Trader B could take a short and close with a $150 profit.

Different perspectives and analyses, yet both are profitable. Let their profits speak louder than their egos.

Going back to Tuesday’s rejection:
I mentioned a potential continuation drop on Wednesday. It happened, but it didn’t sustain, even with a positive CPI release. This only reinforces the fact that trading isn’t about being right; it’s about adapting to the traps.
Remember, trading isn’t about showing off or proving you’re right; it’s about navigating illusions and making money. The playbook hasn’t changed—only the speed and narrative have.
