Gold can be a bit crazy sometimes.

After it makes a big move up, the price can hit certain levels where traders decide to take profits, which causes the price to drop pretty quickly.

There wasn’t any big news today, so it’s probably just the market taking a breather after that big rally.

It’s totally normal. Markets need to reset after big moves like that. Just how trading goes

I sold phase 1 with 1.0 wide fibo weekly frame and closed profit in January. I am waiting for phase 2 with 1.68 fibo level at price around 3035 =>>> 3035 will be the place to patiently wait to sell.

I'll say it again...

This is the strategy I follow every day, and I’ve been using it since I started trading in early 2023.

After trying out different methods, this is the one that I feel most comfortable with and has been consistently profitable for me.

Of course, there are times when I have to cut losses, but overall, I can say the profit percentage is higher.

For example, if we look at this week, yesterday and today, Gold’s movement has been pretty straightforward.

It broke the high from yesterday, broke the high from last week, and even broke through previous US END session and the Asia killzone level.

These are all strong signals to enter the market (for me).

But, it’s really important to always manage the risk and reward with each entry.

I follow two main principles when entering the market: don’t get greedy for more profits, and don’t be afraid to take a loss if I can’t hold or re-enter.

The key is to stay disciplined—take your profits when you hit your target, then close the platform and take a break.

So much volume in an Asia session with a JPY bank holiday seems unreal, also Daddy J on the mic later today.

Will look for longs after London opens, today's low looks like it will hold but at the same time is ripe for a sweep as well should be an interesting session

From my point of view, $3000 is definitely possible for gold, especially with the price already at $2942.++ this morning.

If it keeps breaking through key resistance levels and making higher highs, it could definitely reach that level.

But it’s important to keep an eye on how it behaves around those levels.

If it can keep pushing past the recent highs, $3000 might be within reach.

Just watch the price action closely at those critical levels.
