I already leave this advice in the past...
Daily close and open define the day, sometimes you will get manipulation but the percentage is very low.
This is for every candle we want...
But never forget manipulation always will exist, we just need to know how to react when it happens...
Rarely you will see more than 3 is why normal i say 3 shots 1 kill.
Adding to that you have time... Study retrace or reversal in the charts and use only NY time because 4h TF.
And i am talking to much... Some members here don't deserve it!

4H rejecting in 1h 2863.185 to have some kind of bearish validation is better 4h close below this...

EDIT: And again is valid for this 4h candle... Every candle can tell the story it wants!

the market does not care what time frame you trade on. where your bias is. traders job is to take money off the table from the markets. enter a trade any direction.
and. then when in profit move SL to BE allow runners TP1 / take partials to secure a profit etc. position management is key to trading, get in, get the money. get out. aim is to make all your trades BE. and or respect your stop loss no matter what. knowing where to enter will benefit you as well find spots where SL is likely to not be hit

A close below 2855 on 1-hour may lead to a larger retracement; watch the DXY for USD strength the next 2 days.

Another great day trading gold, pay attention to this:

Gold has moved "parabolic" lately, creating a much steeper channel on the upside. We are due a retest of 2820 levels as highlighted here, don't be surprised if Thursday is a down day before NFP on friday
