Expected a retracement next days even with a bullish bias. Yesterday i said caution on bearish that price can reach 2830 and still can but i believe with at least this retracement.
I didn't count so much on bearish until h4 close below 2774.896, is the area that weekly had unfinished business and still have one more below.
But as a range expected for today we are at the botton or near that, doesn't mean it can't go further, because it can to 2747 by one of my patterns, but i believe not in a straight line. Is rare but sometimes it don't playout in same day.

So i am out here a runner to last tp 2747

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick trade I made. When the Asian markets opened, Gold was rejected at the previous day's midpoint key level and continued its downward trend. It broke through both the previous day's low and the low from the previous end of the New York session. I entered a sell position at the previous day's midpoint and then another at the previous New York session's closing low. I subsequently took profit on both positions.
I don’t follow the crowd — I follow my system. The rest is just noise.

AUD/USD has had a whopping 80% correlation to the price of gold!
Gold has a negative correlation with USD/CHF.

AUD would also have to devalue its currency to stay competitive,
since we import more than we export, even though we are one of the largest metals/explorer/miners/resources. we have also sold out a lot of our country.

so devalue our dollar, to stay competitive, but since exporting resource is our only trade these days, we would like a lower aus dollar to export better. however we will have higher import costs, but countries who export to Australia will benefit from this.

for USD -
weaker dollar causes anything in dollars to be expensive. but more attractive to consumers outside the US.
trump plans to do more manufacturing on home soil right? so trump plans to import less export more. which is better if US dollar is weak. rate hikes/raises will pump the USD dollar though. none the less, before USD can collapse, all other currencies must collapse first. macroeconomics.

XXXusd will all move roughly the same. like EURusd

Took this trade during Asian. didnt gamble the open/move.
waited for it to form a range after that move down.

took the wick entry after it formed a support to restest previous support now resistance.
moved SL to BE/into profit trailing closed 80%
then let the rest do its thing.

as of now, looks like gold has tapped into asian highs/open. wonder what volume will come with USD news this week. DXY at 1.09
