We talk about pairs only in Forex (currencies).
ES is the E-mini symbol for S&P500 Futures mini-contract quotations.
S&P500 is an Index, not a pair!
E-mini is not a pair, or an Index, or anything like that, and it's not the same as S&P500!!!
