TopStep and MyFundedFutures is like the FTMO of the Futures world. I think they will survive. I am going to start trading my own futures account from mid Jan. You dont need a lot of money to start trading in micro's specially with Ninjatrader and AMP Futures... the margin requirements are very low specially on the Micro ES. Put a $1000 and start compounding. As long as the Strategy is good ....money will be made.
Thats a good plan..... keep the prop firms in mix to fast track the growth of your personal accounts

Why people are leaving forex & joining the futures party?
Are you getting afraid of forex?
Is this because your method working good in futures than in forex?
You are ready to join futures prop even though there is trailing drawdown EOD, HWM whatever the case may be
You are ready to join futures prop even though you have to make 1.5 times, 2 times sometimes 3 times of drawdown available at start of the challenge
I don't think there is a single futures prop where there is static drawdown.. Is there any futures prop firm which offers static drawdown?

Alright gents we have officially closed year 2024 which was wild ride for me.........

Its going to be a long post.....

So its time to plan ahead and makes the most of the year 2025. Proper planning with execution is the ROAD TO SUCCESS. If you dont have a target to achieve then you dont know how much to perpapre, practise or work hard to achieve it.

Somethings about me i totally believe in luck + all sorts of astrological stuff i mean the grand scheme of themes. There is a small story when i was a kid of 3 years my Dad took me a famous kinda astrologer or Guru and he mentioned at that i would excel with technology. My parents never forced/planned me to a Software developer instead they wanted me to become Doctor. I even got accepted in MEd School back home. Fast forward now I am more into technology based on the steps i took by myself and due to my interest and excel. Reason for this 2025 as per numerology is my year and by zodiac sign its also for me. Based on this for last couple of weeks i've been building a plan for 2025 and an aggressive one to go all out. 2025 is the whole year of MONK MODE(google) for me.

Plan for prop firms 2025 - Sticking to futures only
Based on the learnings and performance of 2024 i have made this stuff which is completely relevant and achievable for me.

GOAL 2025 - min. 500k or more in NETT PROFITS...
NOW COMES THE MEATY DETAILS.. Based on the risk factors of getting payouts I have divided the prop firms into 2 categories. I have created a checklist for it and which I'll be keeping track for each of them manually in order to be more efficient, and focused on each one of them based on the goals to reduce the cost and reach the goals faster.

Currently adding the firms that i have used or planned to use but surely change as time passes. These targets are for whole year 2025 i.e 12 months i.e 365 days.

Big Money - No stress when it comes to payouts i.e industry leaders.
1. Apex - min. 100k payouts as they are paying big money again so only need 2-3 40k payouts with 20 accounts.
2. Topstep - 100k is the goal as well achievable as they have no restrictions how many times SIM payout blow. So just need to pull 20k per account as they provide 5 accounts. Highly achievable.
3. Tradeify - 75k or more highly possible with them if they maintain like this for year 2025.
4. MFFU - Just keeping in the list coz they are secure goal is to achieve 20k or more payouts with them. As my earning potential with them is limited for now. Not sure what happens next.
5. Takeprofittrader - I'll be investing in them as well as they consistently paying even big money. Goal is to achieve 50k in payouts with them using 5 accounts. Completely achievable as they no problem.

Total Goal = min. 325k +++++

Small Money - Risky, new ones etc. Aim is to get 15000 for each of these. Easily achievable by having max accounts a couple of payouts. If more achieved thats a win win.
I'll testing all the newcomers, smallers firms with small earning and risky ones.
List for now which i know or used is Blueguardian, aquafutures, futureselite, blusky, bulenox, elitetraderfunding, e8futures, alpha-futures....
Havent used them but give them a try - savious, daytraders, legendstrading, phidias, oneup trader, goatfutures, fundedfuturesfamily, thefuturesdesk.
Upcoming - fxify, fundingticks, fundingtrader etc.

Total Goal = min. 200k ++++

I realised and planned based on my learnings and experience from this 2024. Having a specific goal for each firm will reduce my cost of buying unnecesary challenges and keeps me more focused towards reaching the goal for that firm check them out of list and moving onto next so that in case of ban or payout denials i can still progress.

Also this doesnot mean i'll be trading all these firms together and build a acounts galore. No focus will be Payouts goals. Another thing to note if i make more than my goal from a risky firma i'll be cancelling out with another..


NOW COMES THE PERSONAL ACCOUNTS -

Goal is to completely shift the forex accounts to futures. I have 2 forex personal accounts questrade and oanda. So i'll be closing those this year and moving to futures. You;ll be thinking its a one click job not for me i have gained alot on them and i have to pay alot of taxes (CANADA) need to build a strategy with a champion accountant.

Execution of this plan starts with tradeify 150kx7, mffu 50kx1, futureselite 50kx5, aqua futures 50kx3 and blueguardian futures 50kx3. I have added the cost of these to 2025.....

This week's update:
For the standard static FX challenge, there's been a slight price adjustment. I really like what E8 Markets offers, both the standard and discounted prices, but unfortunately, they don't have MT4. My challenge with Blueberry is still ongoing, and so far, it's been very tough. Wishing you all the best in 2025. At least hope for the annual income from prop firms should exceed the annual GDP PPP per capita 2024 of each respective country.

Well, for me, it's more lucrative while forex is more forgiving.

Example, a 2-step 50k forex account costs 300 before discounts. I need to make 13-15% or 6.5k -7.5k to get a funded account. That's before I can make any profit.
A MFFU 50k account costs 80. I can have 3 of them and copy trade for 240. If I make 6.5k on each of them, I would be able to withdraw 1200x3 from them with another 1000x3 profit in the buffer. If I make 7.5k on each of them, I'd be able to withdraw 1200x2x3 on them with another 800x3 in the buffer. So, the effort to get funded on a 50k FTMO would've made me 7.2k on MFFU with another 2400 in the buffer.

Trailing drawdown is less forgiving, but EOD trailing is not THAT bad for me.

There are some firms with static accounts, but not many. Also, the drawdown is much less than forex.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS?

If I make 6.5k on each of 3 of them
I would be able to withdraw multiples of 1200 DLL x 3 x 4 (What's 4 here ?) from them.
If I make 7.5k on each of them, I'd theoretically have maxed out the accounts by withdrawing 6k on each of them a

Max I can make 1,200 x 5 = 6,000 (from 1 MYFFU 50k Starter) before they shift me to LIVE ACCOUNT with static drawdown
First 10.000 $ profits will be mine, after that profit split 90/10
If I make 6,000 (from 1 MYFFU 50k Starter) after passing their challenge by making 3,000 $ profit with 2,500 $ worth of trailing drawdown
Then, they will move me to LIVE ACCOUNT with static drawdown,
There again I can make 4,000 and all 4,000 profit will be mine as First 10,000 $ profits will be mine
After whatever I am gonna make, I will get 90% of it

Phase 1 forex is 8% or 10% target. On a 50k that's 4k or 5k profit.
Phase 2 forex is usually 5%. On a 50k that's 2.5k profit.
Total 6.5k or 7.5k.

Made a little mistake for the MFFU calculations.
6.5k profit on MFFU would be 3k to pass.
On the funded, once you hit 2.5k, you can withdraw 1.2k. Then you earn another 1k. Total profit would be 6.5k and you withdraw 1.2k with another 200 for another 1.2k withdrawal. If you have 3 accounts, you'd have withdrawn 3.6k with another 3.6k on it's way. On ACG, you'll be on the threshold of getting a funded account.

7.5k profit on MFFU would be 3k to pass.
On the funded, once you hit 2.5k, you can withdraw 1.2k. Then you earn another 1.2k and you can withdraw that as well. Then you have another 800 in profit waiting to be withdrawn soon. Total profit would be 7.5k and you withdraw 2.4k with another 800 of profit waiting for withdrawal. If you have 3 accounts, you'd have withdrawn 7.2k with another 2.4k in the buffer. On FTMO, you'll be on the threshold of getting a funded account.

Like I said, forex is more forgiving, but I don't think there's a time limit for mffu.

Anyway, I'm just giving the reasons I'm doing futures and not trying to convince you to do the same.

On the MFFU 50k Started funded account, once you hit 2.5k

You can withdraw 1.2k (1st Payout DLL)
Leaving 1.3k worth of Drawdown LOCKED at initial balance??
Then I will earn another 1.2k and withdraw again (2nd Payout DLL)
Leaving 1.3k worth of Drawdown LOCKED at initial balance??
Then I will earn another 1.2k and withdraw again (3rd Payout DLL)

with No Activation Fees once get funded, No Platform fees, No CME fees,
& not just this, once you withdrawn 6,000 $, trading will be easier with drawdown now become static

Traders are afraid of not getting paid and wasting time. What's the point of having candies and cake when person whom you are giving these things have diabetes. If you put effort in reading all pages in the forum you wouldn't be asking these questions. One really needs to stay under radar to trade on these prop firms and most of prop firm banned north america.

You are missing main point "GETTING PAID". 90% of traders comes to prop firm not to trade conservatively but to make quick buck. Try YOLO on both firms and see the results/ FTMO will put restrictions like you can't risk more than 1% etc or BAN you. Another one will pay you in 2 weeks.
If trader is patient enough they dont even need prop firms there are enough so called unregulated brokers with 500:1 leverage where you can flip accounts.

The only thing I know right now is TradingPit, which offers a static challenge for futures. However, the profit target is set at 10%. That's how it is—when the profit target is low, whether it's forex or futures firms, they tend to add many complex rules, even if the price becomes cheaper. But with an affordable static challenge and a reasonable profit target, I think something like what E8 started with becomes very appealing. Moreover, the challenge should only have one step; there's no point in having 2 or 3 steps as it inevitably becomes much harder, even if the price is cheap. E8 offers a static challenge that thrills me with its relatively affordable price, an 8% profit target, and an 8% drawdown limit—though, unfortunately, there's no MT4. As for the trailing drawdown (around 5%), I've practiced extensively but haven't succeeded even once.

When comparing a 1-step challenge in forex, it should also be a 1-step challenge in futures. Even Blueberry's static target is still crazy for a 1-step challenge at 10%, followed by another 10% (full target). E8 is the same—8%, followed by another 8% for the full target. That's why a fair standard, if it's not just a game, should be a 6% challenge and then aiming for another 6% after being funded. The 10% target set by FTMO, which became the industry standard, is actually a big, unrealistic standard. Strangely enough, it was accepted by traders (back then).

Imagine faster cash flow with reasonable targets and a monthly time limit? That would better reflect the spirit of a prop firm (though it’s still just a game). Additional rules could be implemented, such as allowing traders to withdraw only up to 6% of profits in a month if achieved. This would undoubtedly benefit both the prop firm and the traders, creating a healthier system overall. If a trader can consistently make a profit of 6% per month or below that for a year after being funded, there is no doubt that they should become a target for investors.

Only if you are day trading. Interactive Brokers requires at least 2 to 2.5K to open one MNQ lot.

or add the contracts as SL and remove them when tp hit or manual close.... thats what i do after each trade i press EXIT at market and Cxl button removes all extra orders

yes, in futures, direct funding model, making 7.5k is easier ( With Ticktick ) and that makes one to withdraw 2.7k.

Comparitively, with fx firm, one needs to make 15 k ( to pass ) and then make 3.5k in live to withdraw 2.7k. This is difficult.

Tradeify quickly changed rules in direct funding model, Ticktick not yet.

One can expect more rules to Direct account model. Or they abloish this model totally.

All depends on facts and figures which the firm only know.

LOL, see, how many platforms are there, lot of time will go just to understand all these & then select the best one
THEN, lot of time will go in going to every futures prop, understand their rules, comparison & then selecting the best one
WE NEED, lot of time investment to shift from forex to futures, its not that easy to do mind shift
