My question :


Hi,

I am seeing some youtube videos saying that payout has been denied.

I know there are key rules in 3.0 regarding 30 % drawdown and risk management 5 : 1 ratio


Assume a case study.

1.I use dollar cost averaging method.

2. I am trading long on s & p 500

3) My lowest entry price is 5763.
highest entry price is 5785

The average long entry price is 5770.

The actual price trades at 5775.

I achieve 1 : risk reward ratio if i close in profit at 5775. with 1 : 5 risk / rewrd.

But, in this case some of my trades opened above 5775 to 5785 is at loss.

However, since dollar cost averaging is allowed, i am able to achieve 1 : 5 risk / reward.

Is this allowed ?

Or

Every trade opened should meet 1 : 5 ratio ?

Iy your answer is yes, dollar cost averaging hs no distinct advantage.

Pl explain.

That's pretty stupid because they may not be hit during the day and we need to close at the end of the day, no matter what.

Note to prop firm owners: Trading (especially forex) is inherently random world (environment), and achieving long-term consistency is extremely difficult. So why be afraid of creating all sorts of rules for evaluation trading game? Simply set major rules like reasonable profit target and static drawdown limit, along with a one-month time limit, and 90% of traders will fail on their own in any time.

To the more experienced and learned prop traders, which are the more reliable prop firms in the space at the moment? Particularly in the futures arena? Static and trailing drawdown accounts both okay.
I currently have prop accounts with City Traders Imperium ( cfd ) & Top Step ( Futs ) and both are serviceable with no complaints my end.

How is it possible to place a stop loss in tradovate on grouped accounts? I will be trading 4 accounts. I think Apex new rules required SL and TP.

No buddy.... you need to add stop loss contracts on group trading and always remember to remove those contracts which ever hits first either stop loss or take profit contracts..........

Myfundedfutures - (Super dast payouts like minutes) EOD drawdown max 3 accounts
Apex - max 20 accounts, Intra drawdown
Tradeify -- max 7 accounts, they have all intra, EOD and straight to funding accounts, New Firm looks promising.
TakeProfittrader - max 5 accounts, EOD on evals but INtra on funded accounts, No consistency and super fast payouts as well..

Honourable Mentions

Elite trader funding - new promo can have max 20 accounts, They have all types of accounts as well cheap evals but expensive activation fees.
Alpha futures - max 3 accounts, Alright only platform they have is alpha ticks.
TickticktTrader - max 3 accounts, Alright as well nothing fancy

I have nothing against them... 110k+ profits pulled from them before apex 3.0. Right now other firms are cheaper and Eod trailing thats why not using apex at all. Coz i always go with 20 accounts and its alot with activation fees for a poor soul like me right now......
Only issue back then was you have to wait for 15 days to get your payout approved atleast they have fixed that BS.....

Alright GEnts found something interesting......

TICKTICKTRADER making huge strides to compete with top firms......

THey have projectX now same as topstepx and alpha-ticks.. same whitelabel....

They have introduced Straight to funded which looks mouth-watering to me....(I'll purchase some with next payout)...


SOME BASIC MATH TIME :-

Lets Pick 100k account regular (thats max) and straight funded...

1. Drawdown - Straight WIns
2. Price - Regular (171 + 250 activation fees) = 420$ wheres as straight is cheaper with current discount even 150k is cheaper.
3. COnsistency - 30% on normal and 20% on straight

SOME INTERESTING FACTS

1. No MIN days
2. Can withdraw from threshold
3. Rise payouts meaning faster payouts. Researched and found average 1-2 days approval and paid out.
4. For Each payout just touch the threshold and take out the max amount.
5. After 6 payouts move to live.

What brokeree fails to see is that the clustering of props is because of 3rd party one stop shops. No other reason. Namely, FPFX and Axcera.

few folks sounding alarms on futures firm saturation now and the behavior to come. Already large volumes of giveaways. It indicates same thing, some companies going to follow ftt path
