Correct, the problem is that the grinding mindset that makes you a winner is the same mindset that makes you a looser.

Update for the day!

Just posting this for motivation for anyone out there that might be feeling like giving up on trading or have no hope.

No matter how much you might have lost, with time you can get back on your feet gradually.

Lost 12k back in August, managed to make most of it back last month but hit a brick wall once I hit 8k and lost that also. Started from scratch again 2 weeks ago and since then I’ve gradually made nearly everything back and currently sitting on just over 10k again.

Just hope this inspires and encourages someone out there.

I did take a very small profit yes. A great learning curve to enter at 2593 and ride it all the way up to 2620 and then back down to 2588.

I am still short on Gold, I set the SL at 2590 (from 2642 so I would get a profit even if price hits it), and updated the TP at 2519 (that would be the last level that I expect price to hit in case the H&S plays out all the way (that is if tomorrow Powell will announce the rate cut for December). In case things go sideways and Fed announces they will not lower the interest rate next month I expect Gold to consolidate anywhere between 2574 - 2600
