Looking for a long on the volume around 2,545 since buyers accumulated their positions there, they will most likely defend it.
A short wouldn't hurt, but the pullbacks are terrible and chasing the price is not something favourable. Looking for a pullback on the anchored VWAP from the 31st Oct. candle (current price: 2,720) or at least quarterly VWAP (current price: 2,700).
Thoughts on this?

I am since 2613. And I will be waiting until at least tomorrow afternoon (trading on GMT+2). Depending on how CPI comes out I will get out or stay, although I think that CPI would bring positive news which would further lead to decline in Gold.

I have in a tiny long from 2600 area because of the oversold nature of price and its reluctance to fall further right now. It is a countertrend trade though. It might have been better for me to wait and sell from higher. But had 100% of the Russell2000 move down so decided to live a little

Mentally, I'm still short biased, but technicals are suggesting its shifting...

I'll probably be flat until the backside of CPI other than short term plays.

I think you should have exited when it hit 2593/2594 about an hour ago.

Still don't lose hope, it could easily retrace down a little before heading upwards again.

Hope it's not a large position?

agree with you on the 5593, 100%.

Positions are always small for me. Less about the money and more about the learning. I’ve spent the last 6 months just watching charts and analysing for some positions I would have taken. Only started live trades last month.
