Oh sweet child NATO hasn't even put a finger on the scale and by the metrics that Russia releases would suggest that they have been growing slower than inflation which would mean a backslide in standards.

Honestly I'm embarrassed for Russia they've just sent their young men to death for a shrinking case of victory. I think NATO should let Poland do what it wants and let them support Ukraine on a march to Moscow...

The russian economy is just doing good because of the war due to increased government expenditures. That is economics 101. But Russia starts to see inflation increasing tremendously, which is at 21% (not 8-9%). That is why Putin wants a new currency. It will be over for the Ruble real soon and the outlook for the Russian economy is actually bad for reasons @Neowarcloud explained correctly. Real GDP will shrink due to high inflation and this will also decrease living standards.
