I think I'm calling it quits.

It's all very well to just say "buy the dips" or "buy at every support level", but when that support level is a 0.18% retracements at ATHs of a $150 dollar move over 10 days with only 1 bearish daily candle. It's easier said than done.

It's either be stupid and short, or be stupid and FOMO long. But one thing you can't be doing is a rational appraisal of the market.

Whether they like it or not, this is the strategy of the average gold bull right now. And I did buy after a $2 retracement on a $150 move.

I bought EU at 0782. I expect 0770 to hold it. Let's see what it does to gold. I'm in gold short at 2731 collecting good swaps. I'll hold until Trump wins. If Kamala wins, then SL.

That's how it always looks. There won't be a warning. It'll simply do a $100 dump in one day, hit a good fib ret. support, get lots of buyers and then do another $100 the next few days.

Waiting is very painful. Lots of time has been wasted. Last day, waiting to become an intraday seller, but nothing. .So pity but nothing to lose. Lastly, Gold makes another HH. HH means good news. Today, Gold gifts another sign. Not once but twice. So impressive. Just a personal opinion. Trade safe.

And the Up move is becoming more and more extended, cause currently Price structure and wave structure suggest 2767 range, then 2720 then to possibly 2820 range before possibily a deep correction to 2500 range.

On the east, China pouring lots of liquidity while on the west side, +ve FED budget and Higher possibility Trump to win the Election, driving the dollar and metals, while Equitiies remains in consolidation, its upward structure still intact, path of least resistance still to the upside. Couple with the fiscal and political condition of the west, the recent Hurricane is expected to put further pressure on Employment which is due in 2 weeks and may trigger the market to price a 50bps cut for the next FOMC if actual figure fall short to expected upper range limit.
Even ECB is expected to cut by 50bps, so further supplement to Gold Rally.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!

I'm done chasing those big exotic wins. It's just not worth it. I keep getting caught up in the illusion of selling at the peak and riding it down, or adding to my winning trades hoping for a huge win but Instead, I end up turning those into losses, and it's really messing with my head

I was £1200 up on the month, now I'm £100. There goes my engagement ring money. Fuck.

I'm not a FOMO trader so This is killing me. Buying at all time highs after a $2 retracement doesn't come easy.

Thats the whole point of trading with the flow of price structure. It prevent ones from staying on a losing streak.

Neither am I. I can't see what is a retracement. I can only assume that I have be Jim Crammer and just spam that buy button and hope I'm not buying at the top.
