6 per lot is normal retail. If you can be successful with that, you can be successful anywhere.

Still @ Apex...

My opinion on the rule changes = big yawwwnnn

I have not withdrawn <52600 per 50K in about a year, so the safety net/buffer rule does not affect me.
My risk per trade on 2500 DD was 6% and is now 10% so the 30% rule also does not affect me.

I think some like crypto & pip had issues with the DCA limitations and that is now allowed again. Previously banned News release, OCO bracket breakout, NYOpen trading are also all allowed again.

These rules shut down...

1. The yolo scalping gang... risk the entire DD for a few ticks per trade, wishing for that >95% high accuracy winning streak for only 8-10d to reach payout.

2. the 100+ pa account churners & burners... get to 2600, withdraw 2000, yolo the remaining 600, recover/blow the account and reset/buy another.

3. the DCA to infinity crew... risk the entire DD to either recover current loss or blow the account and reset/buy another.

20 accounts & massive 5-6 figure payouts still makes Apex attractive to me, but the 2 new rules (<30% of max DD per trade + $500 max safety net withdrawal) definitely takes Apex out of the fast payout lane.

If you want fast payouts... Most other firms like Take profit, Elite, Tick Tick & Bulenox ect. also don't allow withdrawal of buffer. Your only options are MFFU & Topstep who both move your min DD balance to 50K after 1st payout.

I hate to say it... but Mattl having a hard low number to move folks live to regulated FCM futures brokers will probably be a good look to the CFTC/CME since the model may also benefit the brokers & exchanges.

They are saying you need to be above buffer to ask for payout that means hit the threshold + 100 and you are good for a 1500$ payout on 50k account....

looks like it's a go for withdrawal below profit target, so that adds them to the mix with MFFU & Topstep for quick payouts.

8K + 4K vs. 400 * 2.5 * 2.5 * 2.5 * 2.5 = 15.625K in personal account... likely impossible to achieve onshore in personal account due to futures contract scalling & margin issues vs. CFDs.

Hard to understand, but how I see it....they pay 2K after each phase 1-3 for a total of 6K, not sure if you get that after phase 4, or they just put 4K in live account......is that 4 K static DD with buying power of 50K or just a 4K account?

I would assume it's just 4K account... outside of not having to pay taxes on entire balance now if you withdrawal vs deferred if you keep it live... I can't see one other attractive reason to stay with these props live.

Yeah, they tout this path to live as a good thing. If I want to trade live, I'll just trade live. Especially since they are funding the live with profits I've already earned.
Even this new MFFU offer and I'm sure they will "gotcha" some folks here as well, your target for 4 phases is 3K, they pay you 2K, leaving 1K.
1K for 4 phases is 4K....here is your live account, you've earned it yourself.

How Apex will prevent that since it is futures (FIFO) I can DCA to oblivion and still each trade under 30% loss. For example I can buy 1 MNQ with target 10 pip and stop 50 pips and buy every 10 points with 10 pip stop and 50 pip stop. How new rule will prevent that? If they consider group of trade as one trade it makes sense but right now it is grey area.
