i only asked you why to underestimate sellers if they aware to the risk.. even if it seems like the dumbest trade according to your market structure system.

Yeah but there is a big difference between take profit sessions and correction. TP sessions last maximum of 2 days and quickly find bottom, while corrections go much deeper. This pair is due to correction but won't happen before U.S. elections which is the most important world event this year.

today 2.86% profit is done. gold will touch the 2743~45 zone most likely. the market is still volatile, may be 2755~60 is the last price target.

market is still bullish but, the ultimate target is 2620~30 which is the supply zone before further rise.

i closed all of my gold trade. waiting for a better set up.

Are you out of your mind? I asked you not to throw pompous words around, but to explain to THOSE who, from YOUR words and not from MINE, "don't understand when and where to trade with a return to the mean." But I don't need an explanation, I didn't ask you about it. It's of no use to me.

Chill mate, there are many traders in this room boasting & showing off over small things after losing big in the last couple of weeks. Fardeen's post is probably the most innocent and least offensive one compared to those. We all give advices from time to time, he just did that.

So much conflicts happening in this thread lately. I’m not sure why people that went long have to humiliate people that went short and got burnt and vice versa. And even some people laughing at people that’s lost money. That’s so unnecessary.

At the end of the day, we’re all here to learn and potentially make money. No need to make fun of mistakes or blown accounts. I believe we’re all adults here so we can do so much better

This is where you are and I was wrong.
A setup is not made only for entry, but also gives you the probability for price to push from your entry to partial TP and final TP.

Outcome of a setup can be 3 ways from what i've experienced so far,
#1 It failed directly,
#2 It bounce some in your favour then move against you
#3 It bounce in your favour and continues to move in your favour. (which i guess is our objevtive of trading)

#1 can be eliminated by implementing set of entry rules, preventing us from FOMO.

That leaves #2 and #3.
Trade management comes into place now.
If in both cases, and been trading a secrurity for a long time , we already have our past trade, and know the number of times, when #2 and #3 is most likely to occur. Our goal is the play a defensive between the #2 and #3.
This is why i emphasis partial take profit, to cover the risk, for example when trading gold, the probability for price for bounce from a level majority of the time, is a level that can be seen upto 4hr, even tho it will be failed later. So even if we are on 1mins tf, the level we are trading must be on 4hr. As long as we get the bounce, and with proper MM, we can have majority of our trade as a risk free trade and/or risk exposure partially covered.

For #3 to happen, this is where understanding of fundamental is crucial. The 'reason' to move the price.

Think the price movement in terms of an order book, and why one side of the market will eat the other side alive.

The conjunction of the TA and FA gives the trader the edge to be on the trade that occurs under the situation #3 majority of the time.

So being wrong is no longer a matter, when you know majority of your trade will be under #3. What the mind will seek, will be only when the next opportunity under #3 will occur. This is where, fear of missing out, fear of losing, fear of being wrong ends.
Cause we all are very well aware that a trading career is not made up with only 1 trade.
