New to day trading Gold, ater some initial success, i suffered some losses in the last two weeks.

The positive is I found this thread and encouraged this is part of the journey!

your advice is helpful, although I don't think Israel would attack.

Even though I had two rough days in a row, I still ended up profitable for the week. I know it’s not the most impressive result and it’s pretty close to breaking even, but I see it as a success. The journey to becoming a profitable trader starts with being able to break even. My main goal is to be a profitable trader in the long run. If I take a loss today, I need to keep my focus on my weekly results. If I have a bad week, I should look at the monthly performance, and if I struggle for a month, I have to remember that the yearly results are what really count. The key is to not lose your cool on those tough days or weeks and avoid blowing up your account in one go. I hope every struggling trader realizes that you can have two really bad days and still come out ahead for the week

- 3 out of 4 weekly results were close to breaking even, and I can now see that this isn’t just a coincidence; there’s definitely a pattern here that I need to investigate to understand why it’s happening.

I didn’t manage to improve on last week’s results.

I did manage to have more winning days compared to losing ones.

My win ratio was around 50%. Last month which interesting consistant data

I promised myself I’d trade less during the euro market hours, but I totally forgot about that—or maybe I just couldn’t resist.

Just like last week, I noticed a few of my winning trades turned into losses. There’s a pattern emerging, and I need to figure out what’s causing it before I can come up with a solution

If you ask me, you are taking some trades that make no sense. You must understand better the price action and this comes with experience, like there is no magic thing that I can say to you and you magically become better. Just grinding...

And pattern recognition...

Today I made 57 USD on an account that had 420 USD at start, so a little more than 10%. Yesterday was a "bad day" as I made only 20 USD... for a total of 77 USD or roughly 20% of the account. Just to compare

the best guessestimate pa has another 20-40$ from here before it tops, best case scenario for me is mark opening with a gap towards the upper side and pump during asian session before the dump, again those are wishes and hopes nothing to do with the chart
