-In terms of live trading, I suspect that props will only be required to have a proven pathway for that. Regulators simply cannot force props to move a specified percentage of traders to live within a given time-frame, and thereby deciding the firm's risk tolerance. However, I do think that if regulators can determine that the pathway to live is negligible somehow, then they will try to shut it down.

Exchanges and regulators want the money flowing into their pockets. Traders using demo accounts does not allow for that, simply put. This is in reference to Futures props.

Update: Hoping to pass my Topstep evals this week. Need to make $1072.36 more to pass. Hoping to pass before my rebill date. So far I am with in first 30 days. These are 150k evals. Taking it easy. Most of my winning trades lasted less than 15 minutes and losers were more than 4 hours. I just need to be more disciplined and work on my fear and greed.

I wonder if going from 5% to 4% daily affects that many people.
If so, then it may be a good idea for props to decrease number of gamblers and/or people that are hedging and need to pass in a few trades.
I never imagined that this would be a problem for anyone.

The new rule does not matter much, cause FXIFY is kicking out profitbale funded traders after a few payouts for no reason nevertheless. So this reduces a lot the risk.

ACG changed the performance fee bonus (250$ for 100K account) from first payout to 4th payout? I guess less than 20% funded accounts reach 4th payout.

there is 50% consistency rule for evals.... check the dashbaord you need to make alot more now to pass as you made 2800$ in a day... Plus if you choose topstepx platform there is no daily loss limit

I guess it depends on the amount. I had close to 20 payouts and a scaled acct and had not any problem so far.

how big is your account and how much is your total payout so far ?

I guess it is not a 400K account on which you use full leverage…

Initial account 200K scaled once. In FXIFY the good scale is the second one because they double the account. I'm trying it but it had been tough.

Total payout is mid 5 fig. I never exaggerate in payout amounts, trying to be under their radar.

It says, the best day can not be more than 50 % of profit target.

I have now reduced purposely the profit made.

Today profit is 2900 $.

Reduced purposely by 1286 $. !!

my profit today stands at 2400 $

I now reduced the profit.

in line with your calculation, 2400 /0.5 = 4800 - 3000

= 1800 $.

My current equity is 51293.

I need to make 1800 $ in order to meet consistency rule.

So, 51293 + 1800 = 53093.

This is fine.

The thing is, i will go slowly next few days.
